Vichy Dermablend Review

This is my favourite, favourite, ever foundation. I’ve always had issues with foundation because I have super oily skin. I totally didn’t even realise I did until I was probably about 18-19, FYI not that long ago and I started buying matte foundations, more powder and oil free moisturiser etc.  I’m also really blemish prone and obviously, I hate it!

I probably use this foundation as more of a wider-range concealer, as in I only use it on my T-zone and maybe in smaller areas if I’m having a good skin time of it. It really does stick where you put it too which is one of my pet hates with foundation. Having oily skin, most stuff just slides off but this seems to last a lot longer. It’s very thick so I don’t wear a full face of it unless I’m going out out and I need that flawless going out face to withstand nightclub photographers and the chance of Nottingham rain.

I would massively recommend this if you have oily/blemish prone skin or you need a thicker foundation for going out or something. This foundation can cover up tattoos, it’s that good! I get mine from  because they do a 1/3 off French pharmacy brands sometimes. You can also pick it up in Boots and it’s only about £15 (£10 something with 1/3 off!) which I think is a great price. I think it’s better than the Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation and that’s twice the price!

  1. Hello, I’ve just written a review of Vichy Dermablend and was curious to see what other bloggers were saying about it. By the sounds of things, I have a similar skin type to you, and I agree that the coverage is like nothing I’ve ever tried before – it’s so good! I’ve got Estée Lauder Double Wear as well, and I much prefer the texture and coverage of Vichy. I just wish it lasted a bit longer, it always comes off my skin long before the Double Wear does 🙁 boo!
Have you tried the matching concealer? I’m contemplating getting it because it’s supposed to last longer, but there aren’t as many reviews for that.
Looking forward to reading more of your posts, and I hope you’re having a lovely weekend!
    Effie xx
