Must-See Sights in The North West!

I love to travel and see new things, especially in Britain! There are plenty of places you can spend a week exploring and still not see everything. When I’m travelling, I love to find new things off the beaten track. Here’s a list of must-see sights in the North West!

For me, the North West is a great region to visit. One of my favourite cities in the world is Liverpool. It really is an awesome place when it comes to the history and culture of England. As the hometown of the Beatles, music is important here. The nightclubs are pretty cutting edge too in leading the way for music.

If you’re a football fan, you can’t visit the North West and then not head to Manchester United’s stadium. I loved visiting the club when we had a tour round! Manchester is pretty awesome for shopping too! There are some great boutiques near the centre of the city, and you can easily spend a day browsing them. I also love the Northern Quarter for quirky food & drink places!

Blackpool is the one of the best seaside towns in the UK! Not only is this the home of Ballroom Dancing, but it is one of the most popular destinations for all things English. You can get a traditional fish and chips supper or head out to one of the best restaurants in the North West. The Tower is still iconic, and as a seaside resort you’re never short of fun things to do.

For those who truly love the outdoors, The Lake District could be your all-time favourite destination. There are so many beautiful views of the peaks, the lakes and the waters. You won’t be short of activities to do either. Being on the water is one the most popular pastimes here. If you’re a walker, you won’t be disappointed. There are dozens of well-trodden paths to take.

Historic Chester is one of the best places to get to know what England used to be like. There is a lot of heritage in Chester from two thousand years ago too. Even if you don’t ordinarily like doing the whole tourist thing, do give it a go. The shopping is also really great here!
