Healthy Honey & Chilli Pork Recipe

Recently I whipped up a batch of Protein Rice Krispy Treats with the amazing Manuka Doctor Active Honey +15 and I thought I’d give Holland and Barrett a run for their money and create a savoury recipe too! Manuka honey is 100% pure honey with no added sugar so it’s perfect for a dinner-time recipe. This is a super yummy spicy pork recipe that has a slightly Chinese flavour to it and works so well with the sweet honey and hot chilli.

The main event in this dish is pork fillet but you could definitely use chicken or even salmon if you fancy that or you don’t like pork. I marinaded the pork for a couple of hours before I popped it in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 200 C. I served it with a mix of brown rice and quinoa, braised red cabbage, broccoli and a sprinkling of feta cheese.

Ingredients For Marinade

1 Tea Spoon Chilli Flakes
1 Tea Spoon Ginger Powder (or fresh ginger if you’d rather!)
1 Tablespoon Manuka Honey
1 Tea Spoon Garlic Powder (or fresh, again!)
