This week I’ve gone for an old favourite of mine for Grazia’s #WhatToDoThisWeek feature, The Boilermaker cocktail bar in the Hockley area of Nottingham. This place is awesome. The cocktails are so original and the service is lovely and the whole place is just super cool as you go through what looks essentially like a boiler repair shop through a fake toilet into a really chilled atmosphere that serve amazing drinks. I’d definitely recommend it! My favourite is the Edison Medicine!

The Three Crowns – Nottingham Review
A pub lunch is definitely a firm favourite of mine when I’m not on the healthy eating bandwagon. This weekend Luke and I had the opportunity to test drive a newly re-opened pub in Nottingham, where we live, so we jumped at the chance to grab a free lunch. The catch was that it was part of the ‘Sizzling Pubs’ chain, we would never normally eat in a chain pub out of choice because we don’t like to pay for something when we feel that we can get something better for the same price. For example this whole meal that we went for would have cost us nearly £30, which we would have normally spent somewhere like Nando’s or Pitcher & Piano and get something that we know will be good quality. But, we gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to go along and see what they had to offer.
#NOTMRRW Festival Fashion Style Steals: Jess Glynne & Indiana
The weekend brought us sunshine and amazing music as Luke & I ventured over to Wollaton Park in Nottingham for a home-grown festival called No Tomorrow. The weather fooled us in the morning and was pretending to be horrible and rainy but by the time we’d arrived the sun was out and it was amazing sunshine! We saw Sam Smith, Clean Bandit, Duke Dumont and loads of other great acts but two of our favourites were Jess Glynne and Indiana. They both also looked amazing, both of their outfits were wicked so I thought I’d do a little get the look post with them as my inspiration! Please excuse my grainy iPhone photos!
