I’m a giant gym junkie, and also an image-conscious girl, mixed with being a beauty blogger, this makes these products extremely exciting to me! I subscribed to Women’s Health and I got these babies from Nip + Fab, a brand I already like. I’ve used a few of their skincare products like a face wash and their Shine Fix which I love as a primer. On a side note, I love the packaging of Nip + Fab, it always looks great!

A little review for you today. The Lush Fresh Face Masks are something that I’ve always looked at but never actually bought. I have oily as you like skin and I’m prone to break outs if I’m not careful with my skincare routine and more importantly what I eat. This mask is amazing for my skin, it’s so mattifying and I love that it’s so refreshing as you apply it straight out if the fridge.
Just a few of my favourite bits for A/W in the country!

So today, I decided to bake some gorgeous cookies using a Nigella recipe, they’re double chocolate chip and amazing! I was inspired by the lovely new bakeware that I picked up on the weekend from TKMaxx, the Mecca of all the things that you want but don’t actually need. These pretty cake tins were only £2.99 each and I couldn’t resist them.
The lovely people at Dr Nick Lowe Skincare saw my Skincare Wishlist and asked if I’d like to try the Oil Control Day Cream! Literally jumped at the chance and it arrived the very next day. I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks now and I’m really liking it.
It says; “A light and easily absorbed daily moisturiser to help regulate surface oils and deliver ultimate hydration. The powerful formulation helps reduce the surface skin oils, pores and refine the skin’s texture, all of which help reduce breakouts and spots. May be used day and night.”
I was watching some videos from Escentual.com with Binky from Made in Chelsea & Daniel Sandler and he used this on her brows and said that it was waterproof. This really interested me because I’ve been using the MUA Cosmetics Brow Palette with a little Topshop angled brush. I love it when it goes on, it’s easy to use and I like to mix the two colours and it matches my eyebrows perfectly. BUT, when I look in the mirror like an hour later, I HAVE NO EYEBROWS. That annoys me so much. I feel like, if I don’t have my fringe down obv, I need my eyebrows to frame my face.
The summer holidays will always mean moments of boredom for small people. It was our lovely Abby’s (our Nanny, we call her Abby as it’s short for the Spanish for grandma… long story short) birthday yesterday and she’s coming to stay tonight. We thought we’d make her a cake and it killed two birds as it kept little G occupied for an afternoon.
On Wednesday night the lovely Leyla & I went to the Fashion Bloodhound Showcase at the Francis Hotel in Bath on behalf of The Image Consulting Company. I felt like I was walking into Carrie Bradshaw’s wardrobe or something, it was amazing. I tried on the most amazing Mawi cocktail ring, there’s pics below. Some of the pieces were just incredible. Seeing Halston Heritage and Alexander McQueen in real life, holding it in my hand, pretty incredible when you’re used to drooling over them in films, or online and you’re used to clutching a Topshop bag on the bus home. (Not that I take the bus, but you get the analogy)
This is my second post in the Teapigs series, I did a Lemon & Ginger Tealoaf last month which was really yummy. You should definitely check that out.
Anyway, in this post, I enrolled some help from my gorgeous girl Rose, who consequently has just created her own blog. We made some amazing Chai & Raspberry Iced Tea. This is a pic heavy post but I love photos so sorry. (Not sorry)
