Why breakouts can be a good thing.

Eesh. I know. 99% of the time breakouts are the devil. They’re the one thing that you do NOT want to happen. But, recently, I’ve come to a little realisation that sometimes they can be a good thing. Breakouts are basically a clear out of all the junk under your skin which is gross, but it can leave you with the glowiest of glowing skin when everything’s cleared up.

The Cleansing Game Changer

When the new La Roche-Posay Make-Up Remover Micellar Water Gel popped through my letter box the other day, I didn’t really get it. It’s a micellar water but it’s a gel. You apply it to wet skin but you don’t rinse it off. I was confused straight away – the only thing to do was to try it out immediately! I love washing my face at the end of the day if my skin is behaving. Current Beauty Base Favourites

A little beauty post for us all today! I’ve got a few products that I seem to be reaching for on rotation at the moment to get a base I’m really enjoying wearing. I had to full read the packaging to work this out though mind, I was unsure of whether it was a serum like the Effaclar Duo or if it as a spot treatment. After reading, it’s the latter.

Beauty & Skincare: Boots Haul

I’ve not done a haul post in a while so I thought I’d share a few bits I picked up in Boots that I’ve either been wanting to repurchase for a while or wanted to try out. I suppose it’s not really a haul if it’s only 4 things but still!

Hydraluron from Indeed Labs
This is such a hyped product, I’m sure you’ve read about it a million times before but I loved it when I had it originally and really saw a difference in my skin when I stopped using it when I ran out so I’m so glad that I picked this up in Boots the other day, a third off too! Get me back to lovely skin with 1000x more moisture, yeeees.
