A Caribbean vacation is a popular desire for loads of travellers. That’s pretty vague thought, the Caribbean is made up of a lot of different islands and countless appealing destinations. It can be difficult to narrow down the options, particularly given that most every place you Google in the entire area looks similarly idyllic. The secret is that all of these destinations are spectacular, so to some extent it’s not really necessary to make up your mind. Here are five places you have to go, along with a few reasons why!
I love a photo diary and since picking up my new Olympus Pen ELP7 I’ve enjoyed snapping a lot more than I did with my bigger DSLR camera. I wanted to share some of my favourite shots and a couple of great things that we did during our little Cretan adventure in this mini photo diary.
The buildings in the old town of Rethymno are super beautiful against the blue-sky backdrop.
During our recent visit to Rethymno, Platanias and Chania in Crete we did some pretty awesome things. We’re not the usual sit around the pool holiday-makers. Of course, we love to relax but we also love to get out and so some fun and exciting activities that we can’t do at home. Here are three of the best things to do if you ever venture to north Crete!
Holiday season is well and truly here and everyone’s heading away to catch some rays! I’m off to Crete soon and I can’t wait for some relaxation, feta cheese and seriously pretty sunsets. The only thing that can be a little tricky in our vacay situations is trying to fit everything you own into a teeny, tiny suitcase!
Ok, ok, maybe a bit click bait-y but it’s totally true. Leeds is the only city I’ve been to on a city break that I could see myself living in. We’ve been to Amsterdam, Dublin, Barcelona (up there!), Manchester, London and loads more in the few years that we’ve been together and Leeds was definitely my favourite city break.
La Bottega Linka is one of the best places in Prague for breakfast or brunch (and even lunch actually, we went there twice on our trip!). It’s a seriously cool industrial-feeling cafe with incredible food.
We discovered this place on Instagram, naturally, and headed there for our first meal when we’d landed in Prague. We needed lunch! For our first meal we had a picnic style lunch of different salads and then bread and freshly cut meats and cheese. They have a deli in the cafe with all of these ready to go and everything looked amazing. We had such a delicious lunch and we spied this ‘Sweet Breakfast’ on the menu so decided to book for our last morning in Prague.
You all know I love a city break. Let’s walk 35 miles in three days and pretend we’re not tired? OK, cool! But seriously, city breaks are amazing, you cram so much into a long weekend and just like that, you’ve seen a whole new city, experienced new foods and had a load of fun with your favourite people. Here are my nine recommendations on what to do in Prague.
I’ve never been to Thailand but it’s definitely on my travel bucket list so I will 100% be entering this amazing competition. I thought I’d definitely tell you guys about it because it’s an incredible prize. I didn’t realise how much you could actually do in Thailand so whilst checking out this competition I definitely learnt a few things and I wanted to share them! Here are 6 amazing things you can get up to in Thailand.
I’ve started travelling a lot more within the past few years and visiting loads of new cities, both in the UK and Europe. I’ve discovered how much I love being a ‘travel blogger’ and how useful it is to other people to be able to read reviews of places and see real-life images of hotels, resorts and places to eat and drink. We always, always read numerous reviews about hotels, cafes and things to do before we hit a new city or holiday destination! I follow so many travel bloggers, I’ll do a post on my favourites soon but, if you’re a travel blogger or Instagrammer, I’ve found the best hashtags to make sure your content is seen throughout the channels and profiles that you want it to be.
Brunch, the meal of our generation, right? I don’t think anyone’s eaten as much #avocadotoast or eggs with a side of coffee than Gen Z, right? Definitely and I’m not complaining. Brunch has to be one of my favourite meals ever and it’s basically what all of our holidays and trips revolve around. During our Dublin trip, we headed to the well-recommended San Lorenzo’s, a New York/Italian style restaurant in the heart of the city centre. You can check our their brunch menu or read on for a taste of our experience!
