As someone with combination skin, I get the curse of the shiny T-Zone everyday! We oily skinned girls probably use up powder twice as fast as those lucky normal-skinned gals so it’s good to have a powder that’s easy on the bank account.

My all time favourite out of this ten has to be Rimmel Stay Matte – I mean this is under £4 and it packs a punch. Maybelline Matte Maker, Seventeen Miracle Matte and Collection Lasting Perfection are all at a similar price point and do the job to the same degree so it just depends what brand you favour when it comes to picking between these few.
For slightly less matte and just shine-control, Bourjois Healthy Balance gives a lovely finish to foundation plus all the shine-control you need. The same goes for Rimmel Match Perfection and Maybelline Fit Me Flawless!

For more coverage, e.l.f Studio Translucent Mattifying and NYX Mineral Finishing powders are great additions to your make-up bag. Go old school with Bourjois Rice Java Smoothing & Setting – the original formula of this smoothes skin and sets make up. Perfect!
