Where to eat in Whitby, North Yorkshire

Recently we headed to Whitby for a couple of days of sea air, fish and chips and checking out Dracula’s hang outs.

The food in Whitby is absolutely lovely, you pretty much can’t go wrong anywhere that you go but we definitely had some favourites that we visited across the three days that we were there that I wanted to share! Read More

Eating my way around Soho; Kaffeine, The Detox Kitchen and Crumbs & Doilies

This was going to be one of my ’24 hours in’ posts just like I’ve done with Leeds, Birmingham and London previously but we were actually only in Soho, London for about 5 hours so this is a little more compact but still jam-packed full of fun and delicious food. We didn’t have chance to stay in any hotels in Soho because we stayed the night before with our friends in beautiful Greenwich after a random but fun night at the O2 watching the Harlem Globetrotters! Festive Breakfast at Bella Italia

To celebrate Christmas, a lovely little blogger Secret Santa and the end of my work with Bella Italia we decided to go for breakfast and try another menu from my Italian faves where they serve breakfast until 12 and it’s seriously good value. Breakfast is one of my favourite meals to eat out and I love tucking into a big plate before heading off for a day of shopping or a nice long walk. I’m equally obsessed with sweet and savoury breakfasts but decided to go full on savoury on this little trip out. It’s only £5 for all of the breakfast items, including a cooked breakfast/ Full English, pancakes, frittata or anything else. I opted for the Gigante Breakfast and it was insanely good value. We’re talking 3 rashers of bacon, 2 Cumberland pork sausages, tomato, baked beans, crispy potatoes, chestnut mushrooms and 2 fried, scrambled or poached eggs. Served with toasted ciabatta and butter which was delicious. Read More

Here goes the last blog post of February – where’s the time gone? This one is all about my number one babe, brunch. Brunch is serious stuff in Berlin and that’s what I like to hear! Where To Eat In Prague: La Bottega Linka

La Bottega Linka is one of the best places in Prague for breakfast or brunch (and even lunch actually, we went there twice on our trip!). It’s a seriously cool industrial-feeling cafe with incredible food.

We discovered this place on Instagram, naturally, and headed there for our first meal when we’d landed in Prague. We needed lunch! For our first meal we had a picnic style lunch of different salads and then bread and freshly cut meats and cheese. They have a deli in the cafe with all of these ready to go and everything looked amazing. We had such a delicious lunch and we spied this ‘Sweet Breakfast’ on the menu so decided to book for our last morning in Prague. Read More

Where To Eat In Dublin: San Lorenzo’s

Brunch, the meal of our generation, right? I don’t think anyone’s eaten as much #avocadotoast or eggs with a side of coffee than Gen Z, right? Definitely and I’m not complaining. Brunch has to be one of my favourite meals ever and it’s basically what all of our holidays and trips revolve around. During our Dublin trip, we headed to the well-recommended San Lorenzo’s, a New York/Italian style restaurant in the heart of the city centre. You can check our their brunch menu or read on for a taste of our experience! Read More

Where To Eat In Dublin: 3FE

I love finding new coffee shops and cafes when I head away because I love to recommend great places for people to go to when they travel, that’s one of the best things about being a travel and food blogger, the two go hand in hand!

My newest favourite is 3FE. 3FE Coffee were founded by Colin Harmon, an ex-trustee officer for a professional investment fund who worked in Dublin’s financial district. He realised that finance wasn’t really for him and in 2008, quit his job and got a job as a barista and now owns two coffee shops in Dublin city centre and creates some pretty tasty drinks and awesome food. 3FE have locations at Grand Canal St and Sussex Terrace. Berry & Banana Overnight Protein Oats Recipe

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Said, someone once and now everyone’s stolen their saying. But, still, it is super important to eat breakfast because you’ve essentially been ‘fasting’ all night whilst you’ve been asleep. I don’t believe that you need to eat at a certain time, like an hour after waking, or anything like that because I’ve not seen evidence that it really matters. I usually eat about 1-1.5 hours after waking up on weekdays and it’s definitely within 30 mins on weekends when showering before eating is 100% not necessary. Read More

Where To Eat In Liverpool: Bold Street Coffee

I’m always on the look out for tasty places for coffee, breakfast and brunch and when I discovered Bold Street Coffee in Liverpool it fast became my favourite place in the city. Hands down! I mean, I loved Slim’s Pork Chop Express for our evening meal but Bold Street Coffee was so good we had breakfast there twice in two days. I just couldn’t get enough of those scrambled eggs and bacon. Read More
