Recently we headed to Whitby for a couple of days of sea air, fish and chips and checking out Dracula’s hang outs.
The food in Whitby is absolutely lovely, you pretty much can’t go wrong anywhere that you go but we definitely had some favourites that we visited across the three days that we were there that I wanted to share!
Revolution at Cornerhouse in Nottingham kindly invited us for a gifted brunch to try their new Bottomless Brunch menu and see what we thought.
Location
Being super central to Victoria Centre and most of the bus and tram stops this Revolution is in a great spot. Plus, you’re close to other bars like Secret Garden which is perfect in the summer, Copper, Ginsecco and Alto if you want to continue the party.

We all love a good bottomless brunch don’t we? But, one thing me and my gals don’t love is the wavy bus or train ride home from brunch! What’s the answer to this teeny problem? Definitely bottomless brunch at home. Here’s my super easy but delicious plan for a bottomless brunch at home, just ask everyone to bring a bottle and it truly will be as bottomless as you like.
This was going to be one of my ’24 hours in’ posts just like I’ve done with Leeds, Birmingham and London previously but we were actually only in Soho, London for about 5 hours so this is a little more compact but still jam-packed full of fun and delicious food. We didn’t have chance to stay in any hotels in Soho because we stayed the night before with our friends in beautiful Greenwich after a random but fun night at the O2 watching the Harlem Globetrotters!
Brunch is my favourite food group and yep, I’ll accept being basic af with that admission but, what you gonna do? This gal likes eggs, and anything on toast. Last week I popped to Cartwheel in Nottingham with my hun Robyn for a catch up. She took the photos that I obviously couldn’t take myself – thanks babe!
Here goes the last blog post of February – where’s the time gone? This one is all about my number one babe, brunch. Brunch is serious stuff in Berlin and that’s what I like to hear! Brunch is *probably* my favourite food group and I am all about breakfast food at any time of the day. When we headed to Berlin we were really excited about the coffee culture and the tasty brunch treats. Here are my fave three destinations that we hit up whilst we were in the German capital.
La Bottega Linka is one of the best places in Prague for breakfast or brunch (and even lunch actually, we went there twice on our trip!). It’s a seriously cool industrial-feeling cafe with incredible food.
We discovered this place on Instagram, naturally, and headed there for our first meal when we’d landed in Prague. We needed lunch! For our first meal we had a picnic style lunch of different salads and then bread and freshly cut meats and cheese. They have a deli in the cafe with all of these ready to go and everything looked amazing. We had such a delicious lunch and we spied this ‘Sweet Breakfast’ on the menu so decided to book for our last morning in Prague.
Brunch, the meal of our generation, right? I don’t think anyone’s eaten as much #avocadotoast or eggs with a side of coffee than Gen Z, right? Definitely and I’m not complaining. Brunch has to be one of my favourite meals ever and it’s basically what all of our holidays and trips revolve around. During our Dublin trip, we headed to the well-recommended San Lorenzo’s, a New York/Italian style restaurant in the heart of the city centre. Brunch is probably one of my favourite meals, it’s got to be said! I’m always super hungry for it because I’ve basically skipped breakfast and when it comes to 11 am, I’m so ready for a feast. We headed down to Pieminister to try their new £5 Brunch menu. I know what you’re thinking… Pies? For brunch? Not sure.
