What makes your kitchen somewhere that you enjoy spending time in is down to how well it’s designed. I’m not just talking colours and design styles, I’m thinking more about organisation and storage. To be somewhere that you want to spend time in, your kitchen needs to be smart, stylish and well put together. No one likes spending time surrounded by clutter. To help you do that, I thought I’d share a few tips that I swear by when it comes to organisation.
Simple Tips To Give Your Home More Light
Natural light. It’s the thing we all need in our homes. A well-lit home feels clean, vibrant and inviting. This guide is all about a few easy steps that can dramatically improve the amount of light your home retains. If you think your pad could use a little brightening up, read on.
Let The Sun In
Obviously, curtains are going to soak up more light than any other option, but there’s a better way to go than standard blinds. Plantation shutters allow more light through the window when they’re open. At the same time, they’re great for privacy, closing right back up again. This is a great option especially if you don’t have very big windows. Plantation shutters allow you to capitalize all the light getting into your home.
3 Quick Home Improvements Under £100
Wallpaper
This doesn’t have to be expensive, I’ve just come across ilovewallpaper.co.uk who sell rolls for as little as £14.99. Textured of patterned wallpaper can really spruce up a room and it’s a lot easier and less hassle than painting. Plus, it’s not as messy!
Light It Up
Another great way to update a room for less than £100 is with new ceiling lights. I really like these Pendant Lights that come in a few different colours. They’re really modern and funky with the metallic silver contrasted with primary colours. I think the white’s my favourite as it’s the most neutral. Changing lighting solutions in any room can dramatically change things!
