It can be so easy to get the ‘busy bug’ as I call it and forget to actually socialise with your favourite people. Everyone’s lives are manic and it can be so difficult to find a date that everyone can get together. Or, worst case scenario – we end up cancelling because we’re too tired, right? This is such a bad habit of nowadays I think! Because we catch up over social media, we can sometimes think that we know what’s happening in our friends’ lives. But, we totally don’t. I decided to round up my favourites and start autumn the Swedish way and have a little dinner party with a few of our besties to get a little more social.
Blooming Great Jammie Dodger Blondies
Raising money for different charities is something that I love to do. I like to sponsor everyone I can that I know that run crazy races, do Tough Mudders and everything else under the sun! I ran a Marathon in A Month for the British Heart Foundation last September and really enjoyed it. I love doing something with a purpose so when I heard about the Blooming Great Tea Party I was in!
Recipe: Thai Chicken Vermicelli Noodles
Today I’m bringing you this incredible Thai chicken vermicelli noodles recipe using Thai Taste products. Collaborating with foodie brands is obviously one of my most favourite things to do. You’ll know this if you follow me on Instagram or have been reading my foodie blog posts for a while.
How To Eat Chocolate Every Day (& Still Fit In Your Clothes)
Treats, sweets and chocolate don’t have to be seasonal. You can definitely have them all year round (I mean every day) if you want them! Obviously, some people will just say “duh” and eat it anyway. This post probably isn’t for you. This post is for people that think that chocolate and cakes are ‘fattening’, bad for you and generally a once in a blue moon thing. Totally not the case. They’re obviously full of sugar and aren’t packed with vitamins but if they keep you sane in small quantities then they’re totally fine and I think, essential.
Where To Eat In Dublin: San Lorenzo’s
Brunch, the meal of our generation, right? I don’t think anyone’s eaten as much #avocadotoast or eggs with a side of coffee than Gen Z, right? Definitely and I’m not complaining. Brunch has to be one of my favourite meals ever and it’s basically what all of our holidays and trips revolve around. During our Dublin trip, we headed to the well-recommended San Lorenzo’s, a New York/Italian style restaurant in the heart of the city centre. You can check our their brunch menu or read on for a taste of our experience!
Pieminister £5 Brunch Review
Brunch is probably one of my favourite meals, it’s got to be said! I’m always super hungry for it because I’ve basically skipped breakfast and when it comes to 11 am, I’m so ready for a feast. We headed down to Pieminister to try their new £5 Brunch menu. I know what you’re thinking… Pies? For brunch? Not sure.
Where To Eat In Dublin: 3FE
I love finding new coffee shops and cafes when I head away because I love to recommend great places for people to go to when they travel, that’s one of the best things about being a travel and food blogger, the two go hand in hand!
My newest favourite is 3FE. 3FE Coffee were founded by Colin Harmon, an ex-trustee officer for a professional investment fund who worked in Dublin’s financial district. He realised that finance wasn’t really for him and in 2008, quit his job and got a job as a barista and now owns two coffee shops in Dublin city centre and creates some pretty tasty drinks and awesome food. 3FE have locations at Grand Canal St and Sussex Terrace.
Top 4 Barcelona Brunch Destinations
Brunch is big business in Barcelona! We found that breakfast, brunch, and lunch were super easy meals to find great places to eat but dinner was a little more difficult. That said, here are my top 3 (& a bonus doughnut place) eateries in Barca for an amazing brunch. Whether you love a healthy brunch or a giant stack of pancakes I’ve got something for you here.
Where To Eat In Nottingham: Annie’s Burger Shack
You know that craving you get that can only be suppressed by an absolutely massive, messy, sticky, yummy burger? Not just any old cheeseburger, a serious burger with all the toppings, a burger that basically eats you, you don’t eat it. Yep, that craving. Sometimes I get that craving and you just need an Annie’s Burger Shack. If you’re not from Nottingham, you won’t get these feels but if you ever come here, you need to indulge in an Annie’s.
Browns Afternoon Tea Review: Nottingham
What’s better than cosying up with tea and cake on a rainy Saturday afternoon? Pretty much nothing in my opinion. We headed to Browns in Nottingham to sample the Royal Afternoon Tea which comes with all your usual Afternoon Tea goodies but with a bonus British Royale cocktail topped with juicy blackberries.
