When you’ve lived somewhere for a while, like anything that sticks around for longer than 5 minutes, there is the tendency to become a bit bored with it. But, unless you’re cu-razy rich it’s probably not on the cards to up and move every time you get bored with your home and interiors.
There’s a definite theme with a few pieces I’ve had my eye on recently and I thought I’d pop them together for a little birthday wishlist as it’s next month but I’ll probably end up buying a couple of bits myself after my birthday as a treat as I don’t expect the amazing Whistles Vacation Sweatshirt as a gift, hello pricey! I’m waiting for a 25% off Grazia code to come my way or something equally lifesaving.
I’ve always thought that mismatched, crazy Christmas trees have so much more personality that perfect decorated, stuck to a colour theme trees. This post is short and sweet today but I just had to share the cutest Harrods Christmas decorations that I’ve added to my tree this year. I mean, how cute is Hugh the bear in ornament form? I’m also 100% obsessed with the sparkly tartan beauty and the purple, ivory and gold tear drop shaped bauble.
Recently, McArthur Glen East Midlands Designer Outlet invited me down to check out their awesome White Shirt Bar that’s been up and down the country at all of the designer outlets. Opened by Milly Mackintosh earlier in the month, (one of my style crushes), and showcasing all of the gorgeous shirts that Brooks Brothers have created, the White Shirt Bar is a pretty cool addition to any shopping trip.
I’m usually a chuck everything in a huge tote and carry around too much stuff kinda gal but when I saw this Faux Leather Mini Grab Tote I thought it was probably about time for me to streamline my handbag nightmare and embrace the minimalist life. Plus, it’s so cute and pretty and perfect for the winter time with it’s icy blue/grey colour. I also thought this was a bargain for only £29.50 and they had their extra special Sparks 20% off event on too so it was only around £23.60! I’ve been eyeing up these mini styles of bags for a while but this is the perfect mini but not too tiny size.I also bought a fab grey wool coat that you’ll be seeing pop up in a few posts very soon. Bravo M&S!
Here you see the so called fashion blogger who hardly ever posts outfit posts in her unnatural habit. An outfit photo! I used to do quite a few outfit posts but due to lack of confidence of getting all the crucial bits spot on, (the hair right, the face right, the awkward expression not looking too awkward etc) I kind of gave up.
So, our new house is all you’ll hear me talking about at the moment but sorry, not sorry! So exciting. Anyway, a new house wouldn’t be complete without a little wish list would it? I’m dying to get a DAB digital radio, preferably a beautiful retro/vintage looking one like the Roberts radios in the pretty pastel colours. Next up, pretty plates are always a must for when people come over for tea of course and these Cath Kidston ones are just perfectly pretty. I’ve also got some CK towels in the mix there, I’m loving polka dots at the moment. On the china/crockery note, Luke needs an L mug because I’ve got an A one and it’s my favourite!
