September Money Diary

There’s the end of the ‘pay’ month & a pay day mid week for this money diary! I’ll get straight into it, it’s a pretty normal week.

Sunday – £11.65

It’s the last of the good weather this weekend so we take a super long walk to Newstead Abbey which takes us most of the day. We left around 10am and got home at around 4pm with about 25,000 steps in between. We spent £11.30 on our lunch, paid on our joint ‘house’ account, L paid £6 for two absolutely massive ice creams and then £6 for some beers at a pub half way home on our walk. This £12 goes onto our little budgeting app and I’ll pay for something in the future to even things out. We’re lucky that there are a few pubs 10 and 30mins walk away so it’s perfect for sunny walks with little stop offs. Read More

4 Indulgent September Favourites

My favourites this month are four special things that have been making my beauty and shower routines feel a little more luxe! It’s always nice to have some luxury in your life and these products definitely have been giving me a little extra in the decadent department.

First up are these Maria Nila Stockholm Luminous Colour Shampoo & Conditioner. These smell fab and left my hair feeling super soft and just clean and lovely. I’ve wanted to try this brand for so long after seeing them all over Instagram, they’re just so pretty and the packaging is gorgeous. I actually won these, luckily, on a little Facebook competition along with a few other products so I was over the moon! I’m not sure if I’d repurchase them yet because they’re quite pricey but I’m loving that I won them. I’d recommend them for sure for coloured hair though because they left my hair in great condition.
