The Library of Fragrance

Getting bored of the same old fragrance? Feel like you need to mix it up a bit? You need to know about The Library of Fragrance, it’s pretty awesome.

I can across these guys on Instagram and was intrigued so I popped them a message asking if they worked with bloggers because I needed to try their clever concept out for myself. What The Library of Fragrance do is they split up all your favourite scents into individual notes and sell them separately. Then, you can either wear one scent on it’s own or layer up different ones for a totally unique and individual perfume. Smart, huh?

I was massively impressed when I was speaking to their main lady, Clare. I was baffled but massively intrigued by the concept and didn’t know which fragrances I’d like so I told her the scents that I wear and that I like but I had no idea about the base notes, top notes, any of that, but she seriously hooked me up. I normally wear things like Dior – Miss Dior and Nicki Minaj Pink Friday (this is my guilty pleasure – don’t judge!).

Clare sent me Peach, Orange Blossom and Patchouli to test out and I have to say that I’m really impressed with how the scents work together. The Peach and Orange Blossom are my favourites but when layered over a tiny bit of Patchouli they’re given a bit more depth which you can alter depending on the situation! They smell exactly how you’d expect, the Peach literally smells like bottled peaches, it’s amazing. The Library of Fragrance also have amazing sounding scents such as Gin & Tonic, Playdough and Baby Powder. Sounds crazy right? I need to get G&T perfume in my life. Definitely check these guys out for fresh ideas, they’d make lovely gifts and the singular bottles are only £15 each which I think is an awesome price too.
