The Homeware Hotlist: Save VS Spend

Homeware is my downfall. If I could buy a new cushion or a candle or little metal weird bowl thing every week, I would. But, I wouldn’t have any space or money left so I’ve channeled the spending urges into finding 5 on trend and gorgeous pieces perfect for sprucing up your home, whatever your budget.

The Pom Pom Cushion

Anything with pom pom trim is a winner as far as I’m concerned and you can bag the look for less than a tenner with this Dunelm Chenille Pom Pom Cushion or splash the cash a little more on this Marks & Spencer Boho Pom Pom Cushion and get a little extra colour injection.

The Alphabet Mug

These are cute additions to anyone’s kitchen or desk, grab this George at Asda & Mug for only £2.50 or go all out with this Marks & Spencer Letter Mug for £6.

The Gin Print

I love both of these prints! This I Bloody Love Gin Print which is available from Not on The Highstreet is under £15, a bargain if you ask me and this BHS Gin Is Always A Good Idea is a touch more expensive but is already framed.

Wooden Chopping Board

Whether you actually use it for chopping, serving fancy bread on or just as a centre piece on your kitchen table, a wooden chopping board looks great in any kitchen. I like both the H&M Wooden Chopping Board and the ICTC Rustic Wooden Chopping Board from John Lewis.

Metallic Wire Storage

Finally, metallic storage is seriously in at the moment and you can spend a little more on this Copper Circular Wire Basket or grab a bargain with this H&M Gold Rectangular Wire Basket!
