I love discovering new apps and fresh ways of shopping and it doesn’t get fresher than Octer at the moment! This cool little app (and website!) lets you shop from a massive selection of stores from Zalando to FarFetch and pretty much everywhere you can think of in between and compare prices and products to see where you can get the best deal. You can save any items that you like the look of, just like on ASOS.

This is what the saved items section looks like, you can compare prices and check things out next to each other. A bit like Pinterest-y mood board shopping in one place, it makes things really easy to match products with others and see where you can grab the best deal. Once you’ve decided you want to buy something you just head straight to the retailers’ site from Octer and it’s the same as your usual shopping experience except you know you’ve scored the best deal!

You can see my snazzy new lamp in all it’s glory in yesterday’s post where I showcased my newly revamped reading corner in my office but here’s a sneak peak of what I picked up via the Octer app from Achica. I compared a load of different lamps in the saved items bits and as you can see I considered some little wall lamps but finally settled on this giant tripod lamp and I’m really loving it.
