I’ve called this the ‘Part 1’ haul on purpose because there’s absolutely zero point in calling it the only one because it almost definitely won’t be the last mini haul that I’ll be doing for our new flat.
At the weekend I headed to Victoria Retail Park in Netherfield, Nottingham and had a little browse. I didn’t realise that there were so many great shops for homeware haulin’ over there! There’s Next, B&M, TKMaxx, Argos, M&S Food, Boots and B&Q just to name a few places that are great for shopping for homeware and lifestyle. By lifestyle, I definitely mean crisps from M&S and makeup from Boots that I probably don’t need. But, if you’re in need of a shopping spree or a little retail therapy and don’t fancy attacking town then I’d head down to Victoria Retail Park if homeware is your thing.
I find buying for the house a lot more fun than shopping for clothes at the moment, I just get really excited about it! I picked up a couple of new bits for refreshing our new flat. Of course, we’ve already got everything we need but it’s always nice to feel fresh when you’re in a new place. I bought some all essential food storage tubs from TKMaxx – a.k.a Tupperware Heaven. We then moved onto B&M and I stocked up on cereal and random sweets that you can’t get in your usual supermarkets. Seriously, B&M have an awesome range of American sweets!
Anyway, the fun really started in Next where I picked up the Apricot Blossom ‘Happiness’ Diffuser, this super chic Black Wire Fruitbowl and a Light Box. I’ve wanted one of these Light Boxes for ages now after seeing them all over Insta since Christmas time but I loved the fact that this was more of an oblong shape than all short and stocky. This means you can fit longer messages on! Cute, right? I can’t wait to get this into my new home.
Are there any other hidden gems that you’d recommend for homeware shopping in Nottingham?
