A slightly early August favourites coming your way this month as I just can’t get enough of these few things and I know that there won’t be anything in the next week or so that makes the cut like these guys have.
Neal’s Yard & Deliciously Ella – Rose, Lime & Cucumber Facial Wash & Moisturiser
Longest subtitle ever but these products deserve a little more effort. They smell amazing! I’m not the biggest fan of cucumber flavoured or scented things usually. It’s fine on its own but put it anywhere near a cocktail or a skincare product and I’m outta there. Usually! These products don’t smell of cucumber, they smell floral and citrussy and fresh and delicious. Fitting, really as these are Ella Woodward of Deliciously Ella’s first launch with organic skincare boffins Neal’s Yard. I’m pretty impressed so far, I have to say! The face wash leaves my skin feeling really fresh. I think the moisturiser would be suited to normal to combination skin as I feel in some places that I need a double application.
H&M – Nail Polish in Bordeaux
The first time I applied this nail varnish was on a shaky train and it all chipped by the time I got to brunch. But the second time I tried an application I was really impressed, I love the colour and it lasted 2 days at least without a chip which is a long time for me! I think the no chips part was actually down to me taking some care over the application and using my Elegant Touch Tough-Flex Base Coat and the Gel Effect Top Coat which are super good – I actually did a post about these on their own a while back, you can find that here!
& Other Stories – Chunky Gold Ring
I bought this cutie in London last weekend whilst I was down for the Health Bloggers Community event. I always have to pop into & Other Stories and smell the shower gels but this time I decided to have a browse. Whilst I refrained from buying yet another striped top I did catch the jewellery section and I was really into it all. I can’t actually find this on the site to link to for you guys but they have a pretty sweet selection here. I love all the jewellery at & Other Stories, all the pieces just seem so different and not what you usually find on the high street so I was in love when I found this chunky gold number. I’ve been wearing it non-stop since I bought it and it’s fast become a firm favourite.
Sebastian – Dark Oil
I picked this up last weekend when I was having my hair done at KH Hair in Nottingham, my absolute favourite (and really the only place I trust someone to touch my hair) salon in Notts. You apply this like any other hair oil, I like to use it on wet hair before I blow dry it to make it super soft, keep it in good condition and also make it smell amazing. I always spend most of hair-wash days smelling my hair because it’s just that good. Get some of this in your life!
