Finding extra strands on a pillow, hairbrush, or shower floor can be unsettling. However, shedding alone doesn’t necessarily mean that permanent hair loss has begun. According to the American Academy of Dermatology, losing between 100 and 150 hairs a day is considered normal as older hairs fall and new growth takes their place.

New in beauty for April: Cult brands & classics
We can say spring is officially here now, can’t we? It’s April!
Pastel colours and wardrobe switches are on and I’ve added some beauty bits into my routine for the spring time, some new products, some have just recently come into my collection and they all look very cute and spring like together so I wanted to share. 3 new in spring beauty finds
With weather changes, lighter days and hopefully rising temperatures, my skincare routine always switches up around March time from the heavy winter nourishment to slightly lighter moisturisers and a move from heady winter scents to fresher and floral scents when it comes to perfume. How to create a skincare routine
Ever since I can remember I’ve loved beauty products of any kind. Firstly, it was all about the makeup. I was seriously fascinated and wish that we had YouTube way back when because it would have been my absolute favourite thing, I’m sure. I was obsessed with What Not To Wear and any makeover show on telly. I read Glamour Magazine from about 15 years old because I just wanted to read the beauty pages and look at the amazing products and read about what they could do to someone’s complexion. Remember graduating from Glitter Babes in Boots to Natural Collection and then taking another step up to 17 makeup? Those were the days!
5 summer essentials in my beauty cupboard
Since actually getting myself a beauty cupboard in my new bathroom as opposed to just a crammed drawer of everything I have ever owned I’m feeling a bit more organised and wanted to share a few faves and a few newbies that have sneaked in.
First up my love for Magnitone continues but I also kind of hate mine right now. I bought some Soft & Gentle replacement heads and changed it up, probably should have done it months ago because now my face has exploded because it’s getting a deep clean. Ugh. I hate that I’ve broken out but I know that it’s because there was a load of crap there that needed to come out but break outs still suck. I feel like none of my products are working to really combat it either so I’m just hoping it’s a storm that will pass! I’ve spoken about this before in my ‘Why breakouts can be a good thing‘ post.
Brand discovery: Erborian
Don’t you love it when you discover a new brand that you haven’t heard of before and they’re stuff is totally cute and just works? This is how I’m feeling about Korean skincare and beauty brand Erborian right now. This packaging though, it’s so super cute and I’ve been loving these products so far. I get sent quite a few new launches from some lovely PRs and I don’t always blog about them all if they don’t set my world on fire but I’ve really fallen for this brand and wanted to share some of their lovely bits with you.
Peachy beauty favourites
I noticed when I was tidying round the other day that all of my favourite products at the moment are following a super cute orange and peach theme. I tend to leave my favourite products out on the top of my Muji drawers as I’m using them and this little line up appeared! There are tonnes of products here but I wanted to run through some new and old beauties that are right at the top of my routine at the moment.
