Peachy beauty favourites

I noticed when I was tidying round the other day that all of my favourite products at the moment are following a super cute orange and peach theme. I tend to leave my favourite products out on the top of my Muji drawers as I’m using them and this little line up appeared! There are tonnes of products here but I wanted to run through some new and old beauties that are right at the top of my routine at the moment.

Nars

I visited the new Nars counter in John Lewis when it opened and fell in love with some more of the products that I hadn’t tried before. Firstly, I’m a total Sheer Glow convert and I wear the shade Fiji. I’m also 100% on board with some lovely highlighters from Nars – these guys really know how to do highlight, glow and shimmer. I love the Illuminator Highlighter in Hot Sand which is a liquid highlighter. I apply this after my foundation with a stippling brush and it gives a super glowy finish. I love The Multiple in Orgasm too, it’s the perfect blush for the summer because it’s a little bit pinky and shimmery.

The Ordinary

The super hyped The Ordinary products are seriously awesome. I’ve tried a lot of their skincare and I’ve only been disappointed with one product along the way and I really love their Serum Foundation – it’s more like a tinted moisturiser as it’s really sheer so it’s great to chuck on if you’re running out the door and fancy a little bit of colour and coverage. This really evens out my skin tone and hides a few little blemishes if I just apply one pump all over my face. You can build up the coverage but I love this as a lightweight coverage foundation and would definitely repurchase. I’m definitely going to try the Coverage version of this foundation when I’m all done with my beloved Nars Sheer Glow too and I’ll see how that fairs.

Have you tried this foundation? It’s only about £5 and is amazing for that price! I’d massively recommend it.

REN Skincare

As I mentioned above I’ve only been disappointed with one The Ordinary product which is the Retinol 0.2% which I’ve found doesn’t do anything to my skin. I suffer with a few Milia (milk spots) underneath my eyes and I read during some research that Retinol should help to get rid of these but I’ve had no luck. So, enter the new found REN Ready Steady Glow AHA Daily Tonic which I’m giving a go to resurface and exfoliate my skin – hopefully this will help. So far, I’ve felt that this actually tingles and feels like it’s doing something in comparison to The Ordinary retinol that felt like an oil.

“This effective, skin-resurfacing toner will exfoliate and brighten your complexion, whilst being gentle enough to use daily. By stimulating the skin to naturally exfoliate, Lactic Acid and Willow Bark extract work together to smooth, tone and help reduce the pore size, while Azelaic Acid precursor will brighten and help to even out skin tone for the perfect glow.”

There is also a REN AHA Body Serum in the same range which smooths skin, hydrates and gives a little glow which I am all about. Added to some instant tan this is my go-to leg booster for summer!

Charlotte Tilbury

CT is probably one of my favourite makeup brands along with Nars. I love their Magic Foundation, Full Fat Lashes Mascara and in this line up, the amazing Charlotte Tilbury Life Changing Lashes Eyelash Curlers. These are honestly as good as the cult fave Shu Uemura curlers that I would also recommend massively. They give such good lift and aren’t painful at all.

Real Techniques

I’ve recently got back on to the beauty blender hype and I’m so glad that I did. I’m using the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge to bopp in my foundation and concealer and my base is lasting so much longer. I use one of my facial sprays that I was raving about in this post – I’m loving the L’Occitane water for this and it leaves me with all the glow and a flawless base.

Let me know what your all time fave beauty products are, I’d love to hear some recommendations!
