Life has been all over the place recently with getting back into the swing of work after holiday, trying to get my head around planning a wedding and both working really hard, we needed a day date. Saturday evenings are either chilling together watching telly or seeing friends for both of us so finding time to really have a proper date is super important with us.

When Cosmo All You Can Eat World Buffet in Nottingham invited us down for a review after they’d seen us review Penny Lane we decided to roll our visit into a full on day date with a trip to the cinema too. We went to see Joker which in itself is a total other blog post (but I’m not a film critic) and was amazing! We were starving by the time we came out and were ready for a feast.

On my blog I just want to share fun things to do, places to eat that are tasty and what’s happening in my life that I really enjoy and day dates are up there at the moment! Let me tell you all about the dishes at Cosmo. This meal was kindly gifted.

Whatever you fancy, Cosmo has it all! It’s a really good place to go if you have lots of family or friends that like different food or are fussy! There’s a carvery, Chinese selection, loads of Indian curries, a Teppenyaki area, fresh sushi on ice, pizza and pasta and so many desserts including a chocolate fountain, macaroons and so many different types of cakes. Their carrot cake was really one of my faves and the ice cream machine was awesome.

They have fresh fruit, a salad bar, fresh vegetables and so many alternative healthy options if you’re not down for a blow out meal. There really is something for everyone. We had a little starter selection with some of the snacky bits, some pizza and chicken nuggets – of course! We then went in for a Chinese buffet and finished with some amazing little desserts. I’d definitely go back to Cosmo for a casual meal with friends or if we fancy something different when we’re going out together. What do you think – are you a buffet fan?
