A super quick but super yummy post for you all this week. Thorntons were lovely enough to invite me down to their new Intu Victoria Centre shop this week for a quick whizz round the bijou store and a whistle-stop tour of their Christmas collection. Obviously, it was chocolate so I was more than happy to pop down after work and the staff were so lovely, kind and helpful and the products are so cute that I just wanted to share a little Christmassy joy.
I know it’s literally the 1st of November but don’t lie to me and tell me you’re not excited for Christmas. It’s NEXT. MONTH. Seriously. It’s time to start thinking about cute stocking fillers and tasty treats because Christmas is a-coming.
In terms of Christmas gifts and treats, Thorntons really is the place to be. We always pick up at least two or three boxes of chocolates from here every year to gift to family members and they have an awesome new Christmas collection with 6 new flavours that I’m dying to try. They also had gin truffles, their classic toffee and fudge collection and some amazingly cute new characters called Cheeky Elf that can be personalised, just as the advent calendars can.
Thorntons will also gift wrap any of your purchases for a small fee in this super pretty paper.
As well as their delicious chocolate fountain they have their ice cream section and if you know me, you’ll know that I absolutely love ice cream so whilst Luke had a chocolate feast with millionaire shortbread and fudge, I went for an Alpini Praline ice cream shake. They’ve based three amazing shakes on some of the gorgeous Continental collection chocolates that are super popular and these shakes are designed to taste exactly like them. They even come with one on top! So delicious and such a treat so I’d recommend grabbing one as a Christmas shopping pit stop because it’ll definitely give you the sugar boost to tackle Victoria Centre on a busy Saturday.
This post isn’t sponsored but I did walk away with my very own personalised advent calendar, some super cute Cheeky Elfs and a box of chocs, so thanks so much Thorntons for the gloomy Wednesday brightener.
