Winter is well and truly here and our minimalist bedroom can feel a little ‘cold’ as we haven’t quite finished our decorating and styling in there. I’ve taken the opportunity to have a little online shop around and pick some pieces that I’d like to add!

First up, the Miss Etoile Closed Eyes Cushion is super cute and would add some personality to the room. Some more personality-adders are prints and we don’t have any yet up in our room. This Wimbledon Print and Michelle Collins Mountain Print, both from John Lewis are so pretty, I love the colours.

Beauty-wise, I’ve got a few luxe skincare products on my winter wishlist. The Oskia Renaissance Mask is amazing. I had a little sample of this from a Lookfantastic Beauty Box and I loved it so I’d really like to add the full-size to my collection. This mask is designed to increase cell turnover, boost radiance and gradually reduce the appearance of fine lines and imperfections like blemishes. A similar product, the Alpha-H Beauty Sleep Power Peel is also on my list as more of an intense treatment. It has 15% glycolic acid and 0.5% retinol and is said to be a ‘regenerative powerhouse’ which kick-starts cells ‘while you sleep to promote the production of collagen, elastin, and moisture-retaining glycosaminoglycans’. Amazing right? New skin overnight! Finally in my dream beauty stash is the Tata Harper Aromatic Stress Treatment that you apply to your three pulse points: inside of wrists, behind the ears and on each side of your throat and the scent will instantly make you relax! Another scent that I absolutely love and makes me relax is the Tobacco & Vanilla Candle by Paddywax. Vanilla is just my favourite smell ever.

A new mattress is also on our wish list (Santa?). It’s one of those things that you really have to invest in but also one of those things that you don’t want to spend that much money on, unfortunately. I’m thinking about a memory foam mattress, they seem super luxurious and I feel like they’d last a really long time. Has anyone got one and would recommend it?

Finally on my cosy bedroom winter wishlist is this amazing John Lewis Faux Fur Grey Throw and the ridiculously adorable Pale Pink Faux Fur Hot Water Bottle from House of Fraser. Faux fur just equals cosy, luxurious, winter lushness to me!
