3 holiday style essentials to pack this summer

Holiday style is one of my favourite parts about heading off to the sun. On holiday you get to wear super fun stuff that sometimes you can’t wear at home! (I’m lookin’ at you cute swimsuit) It’s so fun to go shopping and style up outfits for the evening too. I’ve just come back from my travels and I wanted to share three of my staple pieces that I wore on my latest vacay. Let me know what your favourite pieces are. I’ve linked up some similar pieces that I also love from ASOS. Enjoy!

1. The bright swimsuit

There’s nothing better than a swimsuit to hide the evidence of an all-inclusive pastry buffet, right? I picked up this absolute steal from Primark for only £4. The fit is true to size which is awesome if you don’t fancy standing in line for the changing rooms for 20 minutes. I’ve been loving a one-piece this year. I just feel so much more confident in them as opposed to bikinis. My stomach’s always been my least favourite part so covering it up and still looking sassy is a win in my eyes. What do you think about the swimsuit trend, are you a fan?

ASOS have some insanely cute suits on site at the moment. First up this South Beach striped swimsuit has sweet as candy written all over it, I love the colours. Keeping swimsuits bright and bold stops them feeling like you’re about to jump in the school swimming pool. No longer are one-pieces frumpy, they can be seriously sexy and I love ASOS’ Baywatch style cross back high leg red swimsuit! It’s also available in yellow too.

2. The jazzy dress

Evening dressing on holiday is all about the wow factor for me. I love cute dresses and they need to be comfortable. This dress was from ASOS about 2 years ago and it’s my staple sassy holiday dress. It has flared sleeves and a cute tie belt and this amazing print always turns heads.

I love, love, love all of these three stunners. I’m obsessed with the pink colour of this belted number with it’s bright abstract floral print. A tie belt is a surefire winner for a great silhouette. Red has been the colour of the season, right? Plus gingham, this lace up front dress is a trend hitting beaut and I love it. You can also double this up as a day dress because it’s cotton and as light as air. Finally, the tea dress is having a bit of a moment and this yellow Glamorous floral number is a bargain at only £23.

3. The denim pinafore

I’ve worn this pinafore to death! It’s at least 5 years old and still going strong but I think I might have to invest in a new one at some point in the future. A pinafore is one of my most worn items because they’re so versatile and, duh, they have pockets. I wore this at least 4 times on my holiday, both day and night!

Pinafores come in all shapes and sizes but a blue denim number will take you places. They also come in a massive range of prices and this Moschino heart-front babe is pricey at £200 (in the sale!) but it’s gorge. This ASOS mid-wash dunga-dress is a sale bargain at under £25 and this Monki V-Neck dress is a sweet acid wash and I love the style. I also have a black dungaree dress that I live in so I’d massively recommend them if you fancy something different to jeans day-to-day.
