Sweater weather is here! Hell to the yes, I literally love jumpers, cardigans, knitwear, however many times you want to say it – I just wanna be cosy af all the time. Here are 9 pieces fresh from three of my fave high street brands to shop from that I am loving for the new season.
ASOS is bringing the big guns this year when it comes to knitwear and they have nailed it with this oversized crew neck cream jumper. It is pure Pinterest perfection and is 100% going straight in my basket when a little discount rolls my way. Two super bright beauties that I’m loving have to be the fluffy lilac jumper with wide sleeves – (how amazing is this colour?) and the PrettyLittleThing three tiered baby blue jumper. Who said AW had to be all boring and dark? Not ASOS!
Topshop is somewhere that I go through a love and hate relationship with. Well, not hate as such, just a pretty indifferent stage. I think this is mainly in the summer when I feel like all they focus on is crop tops and dresses where your boobs will definitely fall out. Unless you’re in Made In Chelsea Ibiza, Topshop for me in the summer just isn’t the one.
But, when it comes to winter, I always feel like they nail it on the knitwear, coats and boots front. These picks are all pretty subdued and minimalist which is something that I love in the winter time because it’s just easier to get ready when everything already goes together! The only item with a little something-something going on is the stunning dip dye wide sleeve blue and cream jumper. How lush is this? I think I might have to make a purchase here because it’s so pretty. Secondly, the grey knitted stretch jumper is just the simple wintery equivalent of a grey t-shirt (one of my basics and style essentials!) so it’s just a must have. Finally, I love the blocking on this knitted colour block stripe jumper, it’s just lovely but I would seriously be worried about the white collar and foundation probs. I would 100% ruin this.
And Other Stories
These guys are bringing the brights this season and they are all about statement knitwear. I’m thinking the red and black zebra sweater is a *little* bit My Chemical Romance if paired with black jeans but I’d probably stray away from that look and pair with blue slim jeans and maybe white Converse!
I love, love, love slogan sweatshirts so having a knitwear version is right up my street for A/W. This jacquard ‘FASTER’ slogan sweater is just gorgeous and looks fab with the leather mini that they’ve paired it with. Finally, this yellow zebra shoulder sweater has to be up there with a must have on my wish list. I wore yellow the other day for probably the first time and really liked it now I’m blonde!
I occasionally use affiliate links within my blog posts. I say occasionally because I usually get kicked off the programmes because I don’t make them any money – wahey!
