Why having a style comfort zone is all good

Comfort zones are the one thing that a lot of people try to avoid. Do something everyday that scares you, get out of your comfort zone, blah. We hear it everyday don’t we? Well obviously doing this is amazing and it’s good for you but there’s something to be said about having a comfort zone.

Having somewhere to go where you know you’re happy, yourself and comfortable is amazing and I think this goes with everything from social situations to work and definitely style!

Sometimes it’s just nice to have a style comfort blanket that you can fall back on. I love trying new trends and I like to think that I can zip between wearing a girly floral maxi dress one day and then Vans and ripped denim the next. But, on the days when I’m struggling for style-spo and Pinterest hasn’t given me any life I always opt for the classic. Breton stripes and denim. Always!

This particular stripe top was a a Jigsaw sale bargain but this ASOS one is super similar – let’s face it, stripes are stripes. Paired with the holy grail of Mom jeans from Zara, similar from ASOS here and my white high top Converse this is a classic ‘me’ outfit when I’m not feeling very inspired but I want to feel nice. Finished off with my new leather tote, this is the Delphie Tote in ‘Wheat’ from Love My Soul and my old faithful eBay bargain of a Cos rain mac that I absolutely love. It’s kind of a longline bomber in a rain mac fabric, super cool for that minimal-Scandi look!

Awesome little snaps by my gal Robyn from RobynMayday.
