A life size teddy is a massive stuffed toy (usually an animal like a bear or a dog, of course). Mine was a bear called Holly! It is often considered the perfect toy for children of any age especially young kids. Why are they great?

They’re entirely safe and meet the strict health and safety standards that are required, meaning you do not have to worry about your child accidentally getting hurt. Plush toys come in various different sizes, but the bigger the better and that is why a life size plush is especially great.

A life size plush is often seen as a child’s bestie and cuddly friend. They help a child sleep at night and prevent nightmares! Children often talk to their toy friend and tell them their secrets as they feel safe around them. This is especially important in times of need when comforts like this are needed, such as if you and your partner are going through a form e divorce or the child is struggling at school. Children also feel that they must look after their life size plush and this allows them to develop some key skills. They will learn how to care and tend for their toy and this will teach them how to look after other things in life and treat things with care and consideration. 

The toy can also give off a positive energy and a sense of encouragement, whether it be via the smell or the texture or the colour of the toy. It adds a friendly face and can thus be used to enhance a child’s educational learning. It makes it easier for a child to remember and learn things when they associate a face with it, hence why educational television shows often feature a big cuddly animal or character of some sort.

Nevertheless, despite all these great advantages and benefits associated with a great big cuddly toy they are essentially a source of sheer entertainment. Children will spend hours of endless fun playing with their stuffed toys, whether it be having a teddy bear picnic or playing another game, all in all children seem to love them. The presence of a large stuffed toy immediately enhances the room it is situated in and gives it a great energy and friendly feel to it. A children’s bedroom will immediately feel a more warm and safer place.

To conclude, every child should have a life sized plush no matter what age they may be. It is a toy that will create many fond memories that children will carry with them until they become an adult, and then they will pass these memories on to their children!
