I know, is it 2011? An empties post? Bear with me I wanted to go a little bit old school and just chuck a load of products that I’d used up into one post and chat about them because why not? This is what blogging used to be about and why I loved it. Let’s get into the late 2021/early 2022 empties!

The first two products are the EyebrowQueen Brow Pro eyebrow pencil* and the Kylie Skin walnut face scrub*. I absolutely loved this eyebrow pencil, but I don’t think I realised how great it was until it was all used up as I just reached for it every single day to do my brows. It’s the perfect colour for me, I chose Medium Brown and it was a great shade for me, it wasn’t too red/orangey and it was quite long lasting. The only thing is the price of around £20 – for an eyebrow pencil I don’t know if this is a bit much for me to repurchase. I did love the packaging, I thought it was pretty in the rose gold and it has a little spoolie on one end too which I liked.

Next up the face scrub from Kylie Skin. Again, the packaging is super cute but I felt this scrub to be a little bit rough unless you used loads of water and I also found it a bit of a pain to wash off completely because I was still finding little scrubby bits when I was trying to moisturise. At about £16 as well I don’t think I’d repurchase this either. It didn’t have any scent or smell but it was definitely a good exfoliator.

Another product that I didn’t *love* is the No7 Naturally Sunkissed Gradual Face Tan SPF 15*. I just found that this didn’t tan my face at all, literally didn’t notice a single thing that was changing and I used it daily until it was empty. Not a big fan of this I just used it up because it had SPF in it. Again cute packaging, I liked the yellow and I normally really like No7 skincare products as I think they’re usually really efficacious  but I didn’t find this one did anything for me.

Next up, the Il Makiage Concealer was a great product – it has fantastic coverage and the shade range is huge. I had a mixed customer service experience with Il Makiage also, I didn’t love the foundation shade I got so I’d sent that back and they’d sent me a $40 gift card as I wasn’t happy with the original product. I thought this was fantastic customer service but then on the order that I did next for a lipstick and this concealer it took about three weeks to come and by the time I’d had it resent back out to me the lipstick was out of stock so I couldn’t use the rest of my gift card as you can’t split them up. Just a bit of a mixed experience really! But, this product is really, really good. Again, not sure if I’d re-order because of the faff with the delivery.

Revive Collagen is another product that I tried for a little bit, I thought the photo looked better with some that were still full though as I liked the packaging and how it came slotted into the little bits. With hyaluronic acid and aloe vera juice it’s free from artificial colours, flavours, colours and added sugar and has no dairy, no soy, no gluten, no lactose. You have one sachet each day either in water or neat but I didn’t love the taste so I’m not sure if it’s something I’d be able to take daily! It’s obviously great for your skin and is helpful in boosting youth! Buy it from Boots here*.

Finally the Omorovicza Refining Facial Polish which is a really lovely facial cleanser and scrub which feels like it’s exfoliating without scrubbing too hard so I would definitely use this product again but it is quite expensive. It turns from green to grey and milky and creamy. It’s really skin-brightening and refining that improves dull skin and makes your skin ready for moisture!

So there we have some products I loved and some I didn’t so much that I’ve used up recently. Let me know your favourite skincare scrubs in the comments because I need one that’s going to blow me away for good value for money.
