Five Items to buy in the Monica Vinader Black Friday Sale

AD – Brand Ambassador

Here’s a little style and Black Friday post for you all focused on one of my favourite brand at the moment, Monica Vinader. I’m a Brand Ambassador for them and the links in this post will be affiliate so I’ll earn some points or commission if you use it.

I’ve loved Monica Vinader as a jewellery brand for years now. It was the first brand that I bought myself some ‘proper’ jewellery from and I felt like an actual grown up. This must have been in 2016 and now I’m planning to buy my wedding band from there because their jewellery is just beautiful. One of my besties wore earrings from there on her big day too and it’s just such a beautiful brand with ethical credentials and amazingly timeless and stylish jewels. Read More

5 Dresses for Autumn Winter Wedding Guests

Dressing for a wintery wedding can be really tricky. I’ve got one coming up and I’m battling with some ideas of what to wear so I thought I’d share some of my favourite pieces on the high street at the moment.

First up is this River Island High Neck 70s Midi which is amazing – look at these 70s colours! I think it’s perfect for a wintery wedding because of the long sleeves the length. You could even layer a thin top or a body underneath for extra warmth if you’re worried about not being cosy enough throughout the day – especially if it’s a church wedding, these can get chilly. Or, if you’re outside for a lot of photos and you don’t want to be bundled up in your coat all day, a long sleeved dress is a great shout to keep you warm as you can hide a little layer underneath without ruining your outfit. [AD Gifted] Summer jewels

I never knew I needed a sunglasses chain until the Mare Pearl Beaded Sunglasses Chain came into my life. When it’s super hot in the summer I’m not a huge jewellery wearer apart from maybe earrings because I get too hot and sticky! Plus, I worry about suncream getting all over nice rings and necklaces. Having a sunglasses chain is not only super practical (who knew that granny chic would extend this far?) and it can add something extra to a simple and chic summer outfit. I wear a lot of plain tops and denim shorts in the summer too so adding some beads and pearls with gold accents makes it more of an ‘outfit’, don’t you think? Read More

Lockdown stole my style – but I’m back

Oh hey. In the mood for a rambly blog post? You’re in the right place.

I’ve had a bit of a style realisation over the past few weeks as we’ve started to come out of lockdown properly. Trying to plan outfits for actually being able to go out is giving me fashion anxiety. Obviously, the horrific weather doesn’t help that we’ve been having recently but I have felt that guilt-inducing ‘I hate all my clothes’ thing when I open my wardrobe. Does anyone else have this at the moment? Read More

1. Try tailoring

Are sequins back?

Yes, that is a Sex And The City header image because they are wearing sequins and I have, once upon a time, been a SATC fan girl. Don’t @ me. Let’s get a little retro here.
