My Winter Uniform

I couldn’t think of a more exciting title for this outfit because it’s simple and basic and just what I’ll be wearing for probably the next sixth months. Well, variations on a theme, anyway. Comfortable jeans, a cute jumper (this one has surprise stars embroidered on the elbows!), Converse and a cosy coat.

Hey Mickey, You’re So Fine

Can we just take a minute to appreciate how cute these tights are? They were super cheap from Primark and add a little something extra to a typical outfit for me. If you know me, you know that I pretty much live in denim in stripes and this CDG Play style top is actually from eBay and I’ve found a super similar one here from Daisy Street for only £12.99! My black denim pinafore is actually from New Look and again there’s a similar one here from ASOS which is lovely. I threw on my trusty Warehouse Faux Leather Jacket, similar in real leather from Mango here and my favourite Vans Old Skool Classic Trainers. Jewellery wise, my Crossbones Ring is from Bloody Mary Metal and the Large Stone Ring is from Rock n Rose.

How To Scandi-ify Your Life!

If I had to choose one region to visit or style to wear or even Pinterest board to just pin to forever it would be something Scandinavian. I’m dying to visit Sweden, Denmark and Norway just to see if it’s really as awesome as Pinterest makes it look. I love the interiors, the fashion and the food looks pretty great too. I mean, IKEA meatballs are probably hardly on par with actual Swedish meatballs but I think they’re pretty good! Here are three things to focus on if you want to Scandi up your life a little bit!

My Impractical Winter Wishlist

When winter rolls around it’s usually all about dark colours, jewel tones and black. I wear a lot of black. Black jeans, black leather jacket, black boots or trainers. Lots! But, I’ve been having a browse, as usual, online and I’ve found loads of nude and white pieces that I’m loving at the moment so decided to do a little wishlist post. The only catch is they’re all really impractical for the winter time but, what’re you gonna do?

New In: Marks & Spencer Mini Bag

I’m usually a chuck everything in a huge tote and carry around too much stuff kinda gal but when I saw this Faux Leather Mini Grab Tote I thought it was probably about time for me to streamline my handbag nightmare and embrace the minimalist life. Plus, it’s so cute and pretty and perfect for the winter time with it’s icy blue/grey colour. I also thought this was a bargain for only £29.50 and they had their extra special Sparks 20% off event on too so it was only around £23.60! I’ve been eyeing up these mini styles of bags for a while but this is the perfect mini but not too tiny size.I also bought a fab grey wool coat that you’ll be seeing pop up in a few posts very soon. Bravo M&S!

I know it’s uncharacteristically warm for September but I’m really craving a temperature drop! #RightToBeMe With NSPCC & ChildLine

Did you know that every 25 seconds a young person contacts ChildLine, the service provided by the NSPCC to offer advice to children about everything from bullying to low self-esteem to body image issues. This is such an important service for kids these days with increasing pressures from social media, friends and school. The ChildLine volunteers are there to listen to everyone but unfortunately only 3 out of 4 young people that are calling ChildLine are getting through due to a lack of phones and staff.
