For 2018 I’m not really going to set myself any resolutions or anything too serious, I know I want to try and get on the property ladder this year, I know that I want to actually use my recipe books more and I know that I want to continue progressing in my career and learning but I’m pretty certain that these things will happen of their own accord! But, for my blog, this is something that, of course, I have to work on myself if I want it to grow and improve so here are a few goals, aims and objectives for 2018 and my little blog.
Disclaimer, before we get into this post. This is 100% a post that is only, and I mean it, only about a new sassy pair of sweatpants and a trip to Nando’s. So, if it’s a thought provoking, clickable, readable post that you’re after and you don’t want to hear about the new Nando’s pitta, leave now. I am chilling the hell out over Christmas and popping out the odd cute little post about what I’m up to and that’s about it. Of course I’m thinking about posts for the new year but I definitely don’t want to use all of my *incredible* ideas before January hits so, here’s a super simple insight into my life recently. It’s New Year’s Eve tomorrow and the last thing we all need is stress and opinions so, here’s a blog post about chicken and elasticated waistbands.
Christmas break has been really fun this year, it’s been packed full of cute activities and all the festive feels. Daytime beers, Christmas tree festivals, the panto, snacks all the time, seeing my favourite people for brunch and apparently only wearing monochrome outfits with statement cross body bags.
Let’s just get into it, it’s the end of the year (but, actually how?!), and we’ve probably all got thoughts about the previous year and wishes for the year to come. I’ve definitely not thought about 2018 yet if I’m totally honest, apart from my resolution to actually use my 1 million recipe books that I have sitting on my Billy bookcase. Instead, I’ve been thinking about 2017 and what’s been going on this year. Here are 5 thoughts from yet another year that’s flown by.
Since having my Apple watch I’ve obviously found myself wearing my actual watches less and less but I do tend to wear them on the weekends and if I’m going out. I’ve actually come to really like this because I appreciate them and enjoy wearing my ‘jewellery’ watches more because it’s more special. I absolutely love minimal watches and they’re still such a trend! They’re just simple and pretty and go with almost any outfit. Here are 6 of my favourite picks that are perfect for pressies from F.Hinds.
Topshop is a great brand when it comes to Black Friday because I sometimes think their pieces are a little bit overpriced so when they head into amazing sales, get hunting for some amazing bargains. These are my 10 faves from their sale.
The piece of the season the Grey Checked Blazer is the one if you’re part of the Insta-tribe. Next up, I love this Star-Print Wrap Dress, Black Zip Vinyl Skirt and this Megan-Ellaby worthy Faux Fur Yellow Coat is amazing! Layer everything on top of this super pretty Embroidered Triangle Bra.
When we usually think ‘holiday’ a lot of us would automatically think of sandy beaches and fruity cocktails, right? Definitely. But, what if you’re a bit Greece-d out, like me? I love Europe but this year I felt a little bit unfulfilled, like I’d not really seen anything that new. It was gorgeous and relaxing and fab but I still felt a bit like I needed something new.
Denim, dressing comfortably and dungarees are 100% part of my daily routine. If it ain’t comfy I’m not wearing it and when dungarees came back in a few years ago I was straight on that trend. Plus, they keep your tummy extra warm in the winter cos extra layer. Yep, I am 25 going on 85, whatcha gonna do?
These personal posts are one of my favourite things to read so I decided to do a bit of my own. Let me know what you think and if there’s anything else you want to know!? I loved reading Robyn’s 6 Kinda Weird Confessions of An Introvert (which funnily enough has pics from the same day as this photo shoot if you’re thinking the backdrop looks *kinda* similar!) because it’s just super interesting to find out more about bloggers behind the blog, don’tcha think? I’m not saying I’m the weirdest or quirkiest person out there by any stretch of the imagination but I just think it’s nice when people find something that they’re like “Yes! I do that too!”.
Louis Vuitton was founded in 1854 in Paris and over the years, it has become a name associated with fashion and glamorous designs; the brand is now worth over 24 billion dollars (wow). From the beginning, the brand was very exclusive and it started by making luxury luggage for royalty of France. In 1977, there were only two Louis Vuitton shops and now they have over 400 shops all around the world! The price is always a concern when talking about luxury items but this is one of the things that make them so exclusive, of course. Big brands always try to control the type of people buying their products, we know this. Louis Vuitton bags will certainly offer a very unique and glamorous touch to anyone’s wardrobe and with so many different styles, shapes and sizes available, there is a pretty good chance that you’d find the perfect handbag and it will be love at first sight.
