Autumn is going to catch up with us quicker than we think, I’m sure of it! It’ll soon be September and time to pack away the sandals and get back into our boots. I’ve been loving some of the new in pieces on the high street at the moment and thought these 6 pieces would be perfect for the seasonal transition. They can all work together as well so they’re great if you’re a capsule wardrobe chick like I wish I was.
The sales have been going cu-razy recently, I’m sure you’ve noticed! I managed to stay away for a while but decided to take the plunge and try a few pieces that I’ve been after i.e the perfect indigo jeans and the perfect striped top. I thought I’d share 4 tips for shopping the sales so you can grab the best bargains and fill your wardrobe with absolute dreams.
Having a free Saturday meant four things had to happen. A lie in, brunch with my girl Robyn, shopping and some outfit snapping. A.K.A the best weekend activities.
Where we went
You’ll have seen me post about The Pudding Pantry before. It’s a little gem of Nottingham city centre that do epic cakes and tasty brunch. We both went for the classic scrambled eggs with a few cheeky sides. I spotted that PP have started doing their own ice cream and they have a full on truck inside with incredible flavours such as gin & tonic. If it wasn’t 10am we definitely would have grabbed a scoop.
Blokes summer fashion can go a few different ways. The first option; he’s totally fine and you don’t need to pester him – sweet. Secondly, he’s sorted on the fashion front but might need persuading to try something new – fine. Lastly, he thinks summer is 100% Hawaiian shirts and pasty shins – we have a problem. If your guy needs a little assistance in the summer style department, you’ve come to the right place because I’ve teamed up with menswear specialists Jacamo to bring you this post! Here are 5 ways to take him from crazy shirt guy to all out Insta star. Well, maybe not 100% Insta-star but every little helps, right?
Holiday style is one of my favourite parts about heading off to the sun. On holiday you get to wear super fun stuff that sometimes you can’t wear at home! (I’m lookin’ at you cute swimsuit) It’s so fun to go shopping and style up outfits for the evening too. I’ve just come back from my travels and I wanted to share three of my staple pieces that I wore on my latest vacay. Let me know what your favourite pieces are. I’ve linked up some similar pieces that I also love from ASOS. Enjoy!
Holiday season is well and truly here and everyone’s heading away to catch some rays! I’m off to Crete soon and I can’t wait for some relaxation, feta cheese and seriously pretty sunsets. The only thing that can be a little tricky in our vacay situations is trying to fit everything you own into a teeny, tiny suitcase!
Old Skool Vans are some of my most-worn kicks. They’re so comfy, they go with almost any outfit and they last forever. I’ve got a pair of the classic all black with the white stripe and they’re just my go-to trainers for everyday style. Here are 7 different ways how to rock my fave sneaks fresh from my Style Inspiration Pinterest board.
My summer holiday countdown is on! With only a few weeks to go I’m already planning my capsule wardrobe for the 9-10 days that I’m away for. One thing that I’ve been on the lookout for a while is the perfect straw beach bag. I’m after something cute, a bit funky and with a lot of room so it’s a great size for me to take on the plane as my hand luggage!
There’s nothing wrong with being a basic sometimes when trends are this cute. I totally don’t care! You be as authentic and original as you like but I’m sticking here with these cutie-matootie trends that I can’t get enough of. From Pinterest style to that holiday Instagram prop, you name it, I’m on it.
Summer hasn’t even really arrived yet, although it’s been really, really nice this week! But, it’s not too soon to be thinking about your autumnal wardrobe. Once the summer has passed dressing gets tricky. The summer stuff returns to the box under the bed and warmer alternatives are needed. Belted coats, dusky blues and vintage-inspired fur coats are all returning to our wardrobes this season.
