Alternative Christmas Decoration Ideas

Christmas to me isn’t about red, green and gold. I’m not a fan of the traditional colours and decorations as you can probably tell from the pink pom pom baubles gracing my tree this year. 3 Quick Home Improvements Under £100

Wallpaper

This doesn’t have to be expensive, I’ve just come across ilovewallpaper.co.uk who sell rolls for as little as £14.99. Textured of patterned wallpaper can really spruce up a room and it’s a lot easier and less hassle than painting. Plus, it’s not as messy!

Light It Up

Another great way to update a room for less than £100 is with new ceiling lights. I really like these Pendant Lights that come in a few different colours. They’re really modern and funky with the metallic silver contrasted with primary colours. I think the white’s my favourite as it’s the most neutral. Changing lighting solutions in any room can dramatically change things! Read More

The Tree’s Up!

Things are getting really, really festive up in here! This weekend we went on the hunt for our Christmas tree and some awesome decorations to make our living room feel super Christmassy.

To start with we bought a real tree, just as we did last year but when we got it home and unwrapped it, it was a bit dry and bare so we had to take it back! We ventured out to Tesco and got this 4ft fake tree and actually I think it looks great. It was the only one we could find that wasn’t 6ft tall! A tree that big just wouldn’t fit in our living room.
