3 Tasty Ways To Eat More Vegetables

Eating clean is all about adding fresh, nutritional ingredients into every meal and as I’ve always loved fruit and veg anyway it wasn’t a massive jump for me to commit to a slightly ‘cleaner’ diet. Eating veg is a great way of getting full without eating shedloads of calories and obviously, they’re fab for you. Here’re 3 ways of getting more veg into your everyday diet!

1. Bulk Out Meals

By adding extra vegetables like onions, peppers and mushrooms to meals like curries and chilli you can add a whole lot more flavour and your meals will go a lot further. This’ll save you money and kick-start your meal prep. Spinach is a great veg to add to scrambled eggs and salads, I also like to add cherry tomatoes to a lot of my meals as a little extra volume. Give it a go, you could be fuller for longer and stuffed full of nutrients. Check out some of my favourites below.

2. Grow Your Own

If you’re already a veg, salad and fruit lover, growing your own is a new way of experiencing and consuming your favourite veg. Stacks Of Flavour portable vegetable gardens are an awesome way of creating your own vegetable patch without having to have an allotment or a huge country garden. They have a tonne of different types from salad boxes to strawberry planters and even if you move house, you can take these babies with you. I think this is really clever.

3. Blend It!

Not really into fruit and veg at all? The best way to get all of your nutrients and vitamins in is to create a smoothie or a green juice and knock it all back in one. This is great to get all of the good stuff into your body without having to eat it with every meal if you don’t want to. I love fruit and veg so it’s not a problem for me but I still like to have a smoothie every now and then to boost up my vitamin intake.
