What do you get the person with everything for Christmas? Or, the person that you don’t really know to their *very* core what would be perfect for them, but you want to make smile? Long winded but a true problem… This is an age old festive problem and I have a few little ideas that could help those last minute gifting problems and they’re all a little bit of luxury to pop into your loved one’s life.
New in beauty for April: Cult brands & classics
We can say spring is officially here now, can’t we? It’s April!
Pastel colours and wardrobe switches are on and I’ve added some beauty bits into my routine for the spring time, some new products, some have just recently come into my collection and they all look very cute and spring like together so I wanted to share. These are some essentials that I can’t live without right now – basically an old school favourites post without the typical ‘April Favourites’ title! I hope you enjoy – let me know in the comments if you’ve used any of these products and what you thought.
3 new in spring beauty finds
With weather changes, lighter days and hopefully rising temperatures, my skincare routine always switches up around March time from the heavy winter nourishment to slightly lighter moisturisers and a move from heady winter scents to fresher and floral scents when it comes to perfume. I love spring and I actually love a bit of change because it feels refreshing so I wanted to share some lovely new bits that I’ve been using and will be using into the spring season.
How to create a skincare routine
Ever since I can remember I’ve loved beauty products of any kind. Firstly, it was all about the makeup. I was seriously fascinated and wish that we had YouTube way back when because it would have been my absolute favourite thing, I’m sure. I was obsessed with What Not To Wear and any makeover show on telly. I read Glamour Magazine from about 15 years old because I just wanted to read the beauty pages and look at the amazing products and read about what they could do to someone’s complexion. Remember graduating from Glitter Babes in Boots to Natural Collection and then taking another step up to 17 makeup? Those were the days!
3 facial sprays your beauty routine needs
Facial sprays are one of those little luxuries that I just love to have in my skincare and beauty routine. They just start or finish off my base so perfectly and make my skin feel really comfortable and fresh. I have three favourites that are in my routine at the moment and they all have different uses so I wanted to share them with you babes.
My top travel beauty essentials
Travel beauty is something that I find really exciting because everything is super cute and teeny! We’re off to Berlin & Krakow in a few weeks for my birthday so I am all about the travel tips if you’ve got them please. Here are a few of the products that I’ll definitely be taking away with us for our trip. Some are new finds and some are old favourites that I always pick up when we go away. Let me know in the comments if you have any travel beauty posts or recommendations!
Summer Evening Scents From L’Occitane
I’m usually a creature of habit when it comes to fragrance. I love the Rosie from Marks & Spencer fragrance because it reminds me of Chloé and I love Paco Rabanne Lady Million too, it’s an oldie but a goodie. So, when one of the new fragrances L’Occitane popped into my collection it was a completely new thing for me and I really like it. This is a gorgeous evening scent, which blends two pretty white flowers to become Néroli & Orchidée. It also includes ‘fruity bursts of orange and heart notes of peach complete the sensuous bouquet’.
