We all know how much sustainability, vegan and cruelty free beauty has blown up over the past few years and for obviously great reasons. It’s fantastic that we can easily find products that haven’t been anywhere near a poor little bunny but it’s still shocking how many of our ‘favourite’ brands still test on animals. Thankfully there are brands and products that we can make a beeline for and know that we’re getting cruelty free products. Here are five of my favourite skincare products that are in my routine at the moment that are all awesome products in themselves but also happen to be budget-friendly, all £10 and under and all cruelty free.
Where to eat vegan in Leeds – Temple Coffee & Doughnuts
Well, I say Leeds because technically it is in Leeds. But, it is not in the city centre. Only visit these guys if you’re driving or you’re going to the student-y side of Leeds anyway. Don’t take a £13 round trip in an Uber for one like we did. Doh. (Lol, just read that back, not an intentional doughnut pun, I’m just gonna leave that in there…). It was almost worth it though because these guys are insanely delicious.
3INA Chubby Matte Lipsticks & Going Cruelty Free
Say hey to 3INA, (pronounced Mee-Nah!) a guilt-free beauty brand which is vegan wherever they can be and they’re cruelty free as well as using recyclable materials in their packaging. So, all’s good so far, right? Plus, they’ve got super cute branding, an amazing range of products and colours and they sent me these gorgeous matte lipsticks to have a look at and I wanted to share them with you babes.
NEW IN: Primal Snack Box
I live for snacks, snacks are one of the my favourite parts of the day because they just happen so frequently! I always have a morning, an afternoon snack or two and an evening snack post-dinner if I’m craving something sweet. I’ve wanted to give Primal Snack Boxes a go for a while so I took the plunge come pay day when they had a free Caveman Cookies offer on too. Who can say no to free cookies?
Faith in Nature Organic Pineapple & Lime Shampoo
Faith in Nature aren’t a brand that I had heard of before but when they contacted me asking whether I’d like to try out some of their exotic sounding shampoo and conditioners I thought why not! This one really caught my eye as I absolutely love pineapple, mango and lime as flavours and smells. So, what do I think? The scent is lovely and it leaves my hair feeling really clean, which of course is a massive plus with shampoo! The conditioner I think is a little too runny for my liking, I prefer my conditioners to be really thick and mask-like but this was the only slight negative that I had with the product. Otherwise, I love it and it’s a welcome addition to my shower! As a plus, all of their products are organic so we can be sure that there aren’t any nasties going into our hair. I really fancy the look of the Grapefruit & Orange shampoo too!
