This protein jelly was really hard to mix and I felt like it was essentially normal jelly mix just with added protein powder and it was so lumpy even though I whisked it with a fork for at least 5 minutes. I popped it in the fridge for 2 hours like the packet said and it was totally set, super quickly. It set with a foamy/fluffy layer on top and the jelly was normal underneath it. I think it would be fine if it was mixed properly but it was really difficult to do. If anyone has any tips, let me know!

The flavour of the protein mousse was actually really nice, it’s just like Butterscotch Angel Delight but the texture is a bit cotton-woolly, it’s not as smooth as your usual whipped dessert type thing but that’s something you have to get over when it’s got over 30g of protein in a serving! Luke loves this but I’m not very good at getting on with ‘protein’ versions of food. I’m fine with shakes but it takes me a while to get over things that I know are protein-packed. This is my second favourite product in the post, like I said, Luke loves it and he’s fine with all protein snacks so I think it’s just me being picky!
We also tried the Protein Balls in Sweet Chilli which were really nice and the Protein Chips in Salt & Vinegar which I also really liked – I’d definitely buy the two as snacks! Overall, I think I’m just more into savoury protein snacks over the sweet dessert type ones.
