From time to time Boots bring out these incredible Beauty Boxes packed full of goodies from a particular theme. We’ve had luxury, new make up ranges and Boots Brand skincare and now we have the amazing Boots #BeautyFinds boxes! This is my unboxing and first impressions post and I’m already planning some particular posts focussing on some of the individual products.
The contents of this box is pretty epic. These are all brand new finds that Boots have discovered and are fresh to the beauty market! I love to find new beauty products so this is seriously exciting. In this box we have a mix of skincare, supplements, teeth whitening, brow products and new nail technology. I’m loving the EOS Lip Balm in Summer Fruits – the packaging got me from the get go.
In this box are two new brow products to hit the market. First up, Billion Dollar Brows Universal Brow Pencil is a product that is said to fit all brow shades. I mean, how many times have you been stood in Boots swatching brow pencils only to always buy one that’s too dark, too light or too red-toned? Always! With this product the aim is to apply less and blend more for lighter brows and to apply more colour for darker brows. Sounds easy enough!
The second brow product is WunderBrow 1-Step Brow Gel in Brunette. This little baby is enriched with Permafix Technology and Hair Fibre Complex which grab onto skin and eyebrow hairs to create super-natural looking eyebrows. I have to say that from first use, the colour of this is spot-on for me and it comes in 3 other shades.
I’m always interested in teeth whitenening products because I drink a lot or tea & coffee and obviously get concerned about staining. I’m off to have a scale and polish and the dentist soon so I’ll be whacking out these Mr Blanc Whitening Strips after that’s complete to see if I can brighten my toothy-pegs!
Skincare wise, this Egyptian Magic All-Purpose Cream is super interesting. It’s completely scent-less and the only ingredients are olive oil, beeswax, honey, bee pollen, Royal Jelly and Propolis extract which is another bee product. I suppose it works a little like coconut oil as you have to warm it through your hands before applying as it’s solid in the tub. Once applied to the skin it’s slightly waxy but soon sinks in and gives (so far so good!) amazing moisture – perfect for the upcoming winter.
There are also some awesome haircare products in the shape of Hairburst Healthy Hair supplements. They contain Collagen, Silica, Vitamins A, B, C & D and Folic Acid and are set to to help you maintain healthy hair. The only thing that concerns me with these are that they’re quite large capsules and I’m not the best at taking tablets so having to take two of these alongside my usual multi-vitamins, I’ll be having one hell of a morning!
The second haircare product is one I’m really exciting about. The Wet Brush Pro Detangle Professional is Tangle Teezer’s direct competitor and I already own a Tangle Teezer so I’ll be pitting these two against each other. Spoiler alert, I think I’m in love with this Wet Brush plus I love the funky leopard print design.
