Results With Lucy Beach Body Plan + WIN!

As you guys probably know, I’ve been giving Results With Lucy’s new Beach Body plan a try for the past two weeks, I’m half way through the plan now so I’m just giving you a little update! I’m doing the Beach Body+ plan which is the intermediate level.

I’ll admit it, I’ve not done every day on the plan because I’m still doing Crossfit and I’ve been a bit poorly over the past week, but I’ve done a load of the workouts and I’m going to try out some of the recipes that they provide on the meal plan to show you guys what they’re like for my next blog post about RWL. I’ve not followed their ‘meal plan’ at all because I have my own plan that I work out with Luke which involves higher protein macros than in the RWL meal plan. This is just personal preference and because I’m not going into this plan completely blind. I’ve lost weight before, I’ve eaten clean before and I know what I’m doing when it comes to food. This meal plan is amazing if you’re going into RWL as someone who doesn’t already eat healthily.

The workouts are mainly cardio and they really make you sweat. You get a warm-up, a cardio-specific segment, a leg workout, an arms workout, an abs workout and a cool down in every day of the plan. It’s pretty intense. This is the Beach Body+ so I’m not sure if the standard Beach Body is the same but it really gets you moving.

Results With Lucy is fab for gym-haters and people that are simply starting from the very beginning. I wouldn’t completely replace my gym routine with this kind of workout system but I’d definitely recommend it to people that already love a good workout video and aren’t comfortable in a gym. The great thing about RWL is that you only need a yoga/workout mat and a couple of little hand weights to get started, there’s no expensive kit to buy.

An awesome thing that you get with the Beach Body plans is the extra 8 workout guide that you can print out or download to your iPad. You won’t need the internet to access them once you’ve downloaded them so you can access them anywhere. No excuses that your hotel doesn’t have WiFi on holiday! They also provide you with an Eating Out guide which is packed with your usual suspects like Wagamamas, Starbucks, Costa, Caffe Nero and Nando’s, absolutely loads of places with information about what you can eat off their menus in order to stay on track. This is great for someone who struggles or panics if they’re going out for a meal. The guides let you know what’s great to have, what’s OK to have once in a while and what to avoid unless you’re having a cheat meal. These are really useful resources for beginners in the health and fitness game, I’m really impressed by these actually!

Right now, RWL are offering you guys the chance to win a holiday to Antigua just by sharing your inspirational woman -check out the comp here. I’ll check in with you guys in another two weeks with some of my favourite recipes from Results With Lucy and I’ll try and get a few more workouts in from the plan too!
