It’s that time again, just a little round up of some products that’ve been rocking my world this month. In May, it’s been all about the skincare, a fragrance and a bit of fizz!
First up, I’ve been trialling a few products from Caudalie’s Vinosource range which is all about hydration. I trialled their Vinosource Moisturising Sorbet a while ago from Space NK when I was have texture issues with my skin. I was using a cleanser for much oilier skins than mine and it had dried my skin out horrendously. I used this for a few days and my skin was back to normal in no time. It’s so hydrating so perfect for the summer time. It’s also great for sensitive skin and is packed with anti-oxidants.
Also in this range is the S.O.S Thirst Quenching Serum, it’s lightweight and oil-free and basically infuses your skin with water to restore its moisture balance. It’s a perfect partner to the Moisturising Sorbet. The final Caudalie product I’ve been loving is their Micellar Cleansing Water. I’ve had a tester of this previously too and I’d definitely buy the full size, it’s the ultimate gentle makeup remover and the perfect starting block for my cleansing routine.
I’m not much of a perfume person, if you’ve seen my Snapchat recently (alliemayrdmnd if you want to follow me!), I showed how many aftershaves Luke has (about 8-9) compared to my cute collection of just one perfume. I just don’t tend to find ones I really want to invest in because, let’s face it, they’re a lot of money. In comes Summer Rose EDP by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley from Marks & Spencer, this is such a nice summer perfume. It reminds me of the classic Chloe perfume but with a much more summery edge. Plus, it’s so inexpensive you don’t need to worry about wasting it, spritz away!
Finally in this month’s favourites is i heart Prosecco from the i heart Wines brand, this is their new product and it came with a super cute pineapple bottle stopper and some prosecco and strawberry bath bombs which have taken pride of place in my bathroom cabinet and I can’t wait to use them. Who doesn’t love a glass of prosecco when the sun’s out? I much prefer it to Champagne and cava, I just find it a lot softer and tastier.
You might have spotted another tipple over on my Instagram from Premier Estates Wine. They sent me a bottle of their award winning Californian Chardonnay which has won a Bronze Medal at the International Wine & Spirits Challenge (IWSC), pretty good huh? It went down an absolute treat and I loved the label which, we can’t lie, everyone chooses their wine based on pretty labels!
