5 Low Calorie Sweet Treats For Flexible Dieters

As much as I love clean eating, and I eat clean 70-80% of the time and I love fresh food. But sometimes you need that sweet hit that isn’t just agave syrup and dates. Sometimes you need actual artificial sweetness to kick that sugar craving and these are my go-to treats for when I don’t want to go over my calories but need that super sweet hit!

1. Jelly, Low Fat Cream & Berries

Sugar free jelly is about 10 calories a portion so adding some low fat whipped cream (yep, from the can) and a load of berries is a low calorie jelly & icecream substitute and it can be really yummy.

2. Weight Watchers Chocolate Brownie Dessert

I’ve only recently discovered these Weight Watchers Frozen Desserts in Chocolate Brownie flavour. These are 167 calories a portion and are delicious. I actually can’t believe the taste and the amount of chocolate yummy-ness that you get for under 200 calories. They have a brownie-cake base and then layers of vanilla and chocolate mousse with chocolate sauce. Honestly, you need to try these if you’re a chocolate addict and you need something to stop you eating full bags of Cadburys buttons.

3. Caramel Rice Cakes

At only 41 calories a rice cake, these are a great sweet treat, I usually have two with a cup of tea in the evening, an under 100 calorie pudding that hits my crunch craving.

4. Birds Eye Frozen Waffles

These are the main image of this post, I love these bad boys! At about 90 calories per waffle, you pop these frozen beauties in the toaster for 3 minutes and boom, a tasty treat. With berries and Zero syrup from Musclefood or Myprotein, these are so tasty and they don’t have to ruin your diet. They also come in cinnamon flavour but I’ve only tried the plain ones so far and I love ’em.

5. Pink n Whites

These marshmallow and wafer dreams are only 50 calories each. They also do jammie ones for an extra 5 calories, a definite favourite of mine!
