Up for review today in the skincare stakes are these skin-soothing products from Dr. Bronner. I’ve seen this brand everywhere for a few years, most noticeably the Castile Liquid Soap that I know loads of beauty bloggers are a fan of for washing brushes. But, until now, I’d not actually trialed the products for myself.
First up is the Dr. Bronner Skin Soothing Lotion in Orange Lavender. I love a pump-action moisturiser, I just feel like it saves time, it’s more hygienic and just generally easy to use. This citrus and lavender scent is really relaxing, a great one to use before bed and it’s really luxurious without being difficult to rub in. There’s nothing more annoying that not being able to get your body moisturiser to sink in. A little goes a long way with this gorgeous smelling lotion too. Next up, the All-One Hemp Almond Pure-Castile Bar Soap smells like marzipan and is lovely. I’ve not used an actual bar of soap in a while but it’s a new bathtime fave! Plus, each of Dr. Bronner’s lotions features the ‘leaping bunny’ seal to indicate that no animal testing has been carried out on these products which is of course, a granted when it comes to buying products.
