Spring = Stripes #NationalStripesDay

Can we say that spring is here now? Finally! We’ve had a few days of around 15 degrees and I think that’s pretty great. Basically just because I don’t have the leave the house wrapped up in a hat, scarf, bomber jacket and parka when I go to work. Winner!

I live in a really hilly, high up place in Nottingham where it’s literally always 5 x colder than it is in the city centre so I’m always chilly on my commute. I’m glad that I can now get back to wearing half my wardrobe again! Trousers, jumpsuits, jackets and tops that I’ve put off wearing for months because it’s basically been too cold. Does anyone else have a summer and winter wardrobe? I always try to pack away some summery pieces so I don’t confuse my wardrobe. I just wish I had a walk in wardrobe so I could see everything better, don’t you?

Stripes are my go-to and this ASOS stripe swing tee was a sale bargain but they seem to have re-done them in a two pack which is super cute. It’s also National Stripes Day today (31st March!) so it’s the perfect day for me. I always gravitate towards Breton stripes, I just can’t help it.

I’ve paired my favourite top with these super-comfy Topshop Mom jeans and these amazing Vans. Gold or silver trainers always make outfits look a bit more special, I think. ASOS have some awesome silver Superga on site at the moment. Accessorised with my spring-like Whistles pale pink clutch and favourite new Tom Ford glasses. This is a classic outfit for me, a go-to! Do you have a go-to uniform?

Just a quick outfit post from me today, I thought this was a cute outfit and perfect for #NationalStripesDay!
