Interiors: How To Have Fun With Monochrome

I haven’t written an interiors related post for a while! I wrote about tropical trends at Victoria Retail Park, Scandi bedroom inspo and bathroom storage tips this year though if you fancy a read. I may not write about interiors weekly as I might do food or fashion but it’s definitely still something that I think about on a daily basis. Usually, it’s just pinning on Pinterest or liking some of my favourite house-related Instagram accounts, but I love interiors!

Recently, we’ve been having a living area update and move around so I thought I’d share it with you guys.

Jazzy monochrome – does it exist?

Ok, I’m gonna go straight in there with the answer to the question and it’s yes. Duh. Monochrome doesn’t have to be dull, minimal or boring at all. It can be super jazzy, exciting and really make a statement in your home. I love minimalist, Scandi style but it isn’t really exactly to my personality. I like a bit more colour and excitement in my interiors.

Check out this amazing chair that I picked up from P & N Homewares. This is the Chrono Patchwork Tub Chair and I’ve accessorised it with this cute one of a kind Paul Smith cushion that my amazingly clever mum created from a handkerchief that we picked up from a sample sale. What do you think about the patchwork style of this chair? I’m loving it and it’s brightened up the flat even more.
