The Boilermaker, Nottingham on Grazia – #WhatToDoThisWeek

This week I’ve gone for an old favourite of mine for Grazia’s #WhatToDoThisWeek feature, The Boilermaker cocktail bar in the Hockley area of Nottingham. This place is awesome. The cocktails are so original and the service is lovely and the whole place is just super cool as you go through what looks essentially like a boiler repair shop through a fake toilet into a really chilled atmosphere that serve amazing drinks. I’d definitely recommend it! My favourite is the Edison Medicine! Read More

But, we gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to go along and see what they had to offer. Read More

Healthy Heart Shaped Victoria Sponge Cake

This crazy heart shaped cake mould is one of my favourite pieces of kitchenalia at the moment. It’s silicone and bendy and easy to clean, bright red and when you cut your cake, it’s heart shaped! What else could you want?

I made a ‘healthy’ Victora sponge the other day, topped with strawberries and fromage frais! It wasn’t the best cake so I’m not going to give our the recipe, I’m sure Google can help you out there! I just wanted to share how cute this little cake mould is, it’s fab. Read More

Homemade Guacamole Recipe

The thing about me is, I love food and I quite like cooking but I’m a lazy cook and if it’s just for me, like it has been for pretty much 3 years of my university life, I’ll cook something big like chilli or lasagne and make it last 3 days or do something simple such as spicy chicken with some pasta and veg. So, there you have it, my cooking repertoire. Read More
