I was lucky enough to pick up the La Roche-Posay Effaclar K+ Daily Moisturiser from a beauty box we received at work, occasionally we get some pretty great freebies so I nabbed this as soon as we opened the box. I love La Roche-Posay as a brand and am a big fan of their Effaclar serum so I was excited to try this moisturiser version.

This product fights oxidation of the skin which leads to sebum hyperproduction and imperfections forming. The Effaclar K+ daily care moisturiser reduces the appearance of blackheads, I’ve definitely seen this improve in my own skin since using the product and also mattifies skin for 8 hours. Skin texture improves and pores become unclogged. I read a few reviews before starting to use it and a lot of them said that skin goes through a sort of ‘purging’ process over the first few weeks of using the product which I think I have found. This is when all the rubbish in your skin makes it’s way out, the same as when you start drinking more water or begin a healthy eating regime. Your skin looks crap for a week or two but then dramatically improves. I’ve definitely found this and I think I’m almost onto the home straight in terms of my skin clearing up. So far I’m loving this and hope it’s going to really help my skin. Have you tried it?
