5 skincare babes to make you look awake even if you don’t feel it

January. It’s here and it’s as hard as we all remember. Dark mornings, rainy days and absolutely minimal vitamin D. Ugh. The struggle is well and truly real with looking fresh and perky during the gross winter months. Sometimes you just need a little help and these 5 skincare treats have been helping me feel and look just a little bit more awake! Let me know if you tried any of these products and what you think about them in the comments.

My morning skincare routine has been pimped up a little since Christmas. I received the amazing Oskia Renaissance Cleanser which is packed with Vitamin A Palmitate, Vitamin C, Magnesium and Vitamins B2 and C. This is a gel cleanser and it feels so luxe on the skin and leaves it really soft and refreshed.

I follow up with the Pixi Glow Tonic – this is a mini version that I picked up from House of Fraser over Christmas but I’ve linked the full size. This is going to last forever so I’m glad I trialled it with the smaller size. I’m still getting used to using a toner again but this does wake me up and make me feel fresher! I follow with The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% under my eyes and then a day moisturiser. Fresh and ready to go!

The next two items are rocking my beauty routine when it comes to doing my makeup. The Caudalie Beauty Elixir is awesome. I’ve been a huge fan of the Beauty Elixir for a few years now, I spritz it onto my foundation before I apply powder and then again after I’ve finished my makeup because it’s great for freshening things up and making sure my makeup isn’t cake-y.

Last up are the Charlotte Tilbury Life Changing Lashes Lash Curlers. I literally don’t know what she’s done with these babies but they are incredible. They seriously open up my eyes and create such a wide awake look. I never apply eye makeup without curling my lashes and I’m so, so impressed with these. They’re really similar to the Shu Uemera ones that I absolutely loved and are a cult classic so I’m pretty sure CT’s lash curlers will be up there with a lot of beauty buffs!
