Today’s post is all about our beloved Tassimo VIVY (T12) coffee machine. Technically this is my boyfriend’s as it was his birthday present last year but it’s my little coffee baby too. It’s so nice on a Sunday, when you fancy a proper coffee shop caramel latte to have one from the comfort of your sofa whilst watching Sunday Brunch!
The Sunday Edit feat Ugly Bread Bakery
It’s easy for Sundays to become just a day of errands, sorting boring jobs out and prepping for the week but this week we decided to actually do something with our day! We headed off to The Depot Climbing Centre and had a little rock climbing sesh then onto the Ugly Bread Bakery in Hockley for some lunch. We hadn’t been there before but their Instagram snaps always look so tasty we headed down to check it out today.
Current Lusting – Saturday Wishlist!
Being on a serious spending ban definitely makes you want to shop more! Working in social media also doesn’t help as I’m constantly on retailer websites looking up new collections, fresh trends and the like so I’m always spotting new things I’d love to have in my wardrobe. These are the current things I’m dying to get my hands on… There’s a little monochrome and gold theme going on apparently, I hadn’t noticed until I put it together!
Instagram Round Up #1
I’ve always liked reading these posts so I thought I’d try one out for myself! A little Instagram round up coming your way. If you’re not following me, why da hell not?! I joke. Here’s a little round-up featuring some birthday excitement, OOTDs, lots of food and a little travels!
Bedroom Inspiration & Oliver Bonas Wishlist
Another interiors obsession post coming at you! This time, I’ve discovered Oliver Bonas, an awesome brand who stock the nicest homewares ever. We’re talking all the neon, natural wood and copper you can shake a stick at! I’ve been doing some Pinteresting, of course and I’m loving the natural base with bright pops of colour look at the moment. I’ve narrowed it down to three elements in this post that I think are necessary to get this fresh interior look.
Red's True Barbecue Opening Night
On Wednesday morning an email popped into my inbox inviting me to the opening press night of Red’s True Barbecue in Nottingham on Thursday evening. To say I was excited would be an understatement. We’ve been hot on this place’s heels for months now, ever since we saw the signs going up for a new barbecue establishment in the centre of town! I hadn’t heard of Red’s before but Luke had assured me that it’s awesome as they already have places in Leeds and Manchester and we started social media stalking them like nothing else!
Monochrome Bedroom Updaters
Finally, we have a bedroom that’s actually relaxing, comfortable and just downright nice to be in. Recently we’ve tackled painting the walls – three white and 1 elephant grey as seen on my Insta – and getting ourselves some curtains and a new wooden Venetian blind. Our bedroom is really coming together and I thought I’d share a few of my favourite bits! First up our bed sheets are all about the geometric, the monochrome and the yellow which is our main accent colour. I picked the fluffy cushions up in Primark for only £4 each and they are SO soft it’s unreal. The rest of the cushions are IKEA and the sheets are George at Asda.

The Friday Girl's Top #BloggingTips
Now I’m not claiming to be a pro blogger but I’ve grown my little corner of the internet quite substantially in my eyes within the last year or so! I love my blog, it’s the best hobby I’ve ever had and I’ve not really had many of those! I’d don’t know what I’d do if I didn’t have my blog, it forces me to be creative, work hard and strive for something. I wouldn’t have been offered my job without it, I really believe that. I’ve put together some of my top tips for blogging if you’re just starting out.
Last Minute Beauty Christmas Gifts for Every Budget
Finding the perfect gift can be difficult no matter the size of your budget and the pressure making someone smile on Christmas day can be really stressful! Regardless of the price bracket though, with a bit of crafty thought you can definitely find something that’s going to make them happy underneath the tree! Here’s a few last minute tips to grab some beauty goodies for your nearest and dearest (or just for you, who’s telling?!). Save Over-powering cheap perfumes from discount department stores are now becoming a thing of the past, as cheaper, quality beauty products are making their mark on the high street; with Superdrug selling MUA lipsticks from just £1! There’s also great stores like TJ Hughes and TKMaxx where you can find big brands for loads less. I’ve found bargains from brands such as Stila, Urban Decay and Nails Inc in these stores in the past, they make great stocking fillers. Spend Some mid-priced brands run deals throughout the year, and the holiday season is no exception. Keep your eye out for vouchers when you buy a number of products from one brand as this could lead to you getting a lot more for your money in the future. Boots Star Gift of the Week is also a great way to grab a bargain, their Soap & Glory gift goes crazy every year and is always great value for money. The gift on offer at the moment is the Jack Wills Weekend Essentials for only £33.00!
Splurge If you have a little extra cash to spend and you prefer to make shopping for beauty products a special treat, pay a visit to the professional make-up artists in the high end department stores, they can help you pick gorgeous treats for your own wish list and recommend some products for other people too!
