Liz Earle Perfect Fix Concealer

Another beauty review coming at you today. I’ve been on a bit of a beauty rampage, trying to find those holy grail products and whittle down my make-up bag (eventually!) Today, I’m talking about the Liz Earle Perfect Fix Concealer! This is a push up concealer and it’s really creamy in consistency, is quite pigmented (I think I might have bought the shade too dark for my skin, especially in the winter season) and has pretty good staying power! It’s around £13.50 which is slightly cheaper than say, a MAC concealer but of course it’s more expensive than your average ‘drug-store’ concealer. Read More

No7 Instant Radiance Bronzing Highlighter

Today’s post is all about another product from the awesome Boots Let’s Give it A Go box. The No7 Instant Radiance Bronzing Highlighter – £9.95* has become a firm favourite in my makeup bag. It’s overtaken Benefit’s Sun Beam for me which has been a staple for years in my everyday makeup routine. This No7 highlighter is one I know I would repurchase already and I’ve only had it about a month! It’s really easy to apply and is so blend-able. Sometimes I find Benefit’s Sun Beam hard to blend as it’s quite a wet product where as this one just solid and more of a non-sticky balm. The colour is really similar though! All in all, I would massively recommend this product. Love it! Read More

Fake Bake Faux Glo Review

I like to think of myself as quite the fake tan connoisseur, if there is such a thing! I like to be tanned and I’ve tried a fair few out in my time as a tanner! This is the new release from Fake Bake – Faux Glo is specifically for legs but I used it all over when I trialled it out the other night. Three of us actually tested this out as I went on a night out with the girls from work and we were getting ready in the hotel, it was a hit with all three of us! It’s really, really easy to apply and the finish is awesome. The only thing that I’d criticise it that the spray is quite wide and so can go everywhere! It was slightly messy, so I’d probably only use it outside or sitting down on an old dark towel as it was quite unruly when sprayed. The finish is amazing, it was a nice colour and it was literally like foundation for your legs. It dried really fast too! I’d definitely use it again. Read More

Sleek MakeUP Brow Kit Review

Sleek is a brand that I’ve only dabbled in with a few cheek/blusher/bronzer products. I absolutely love their contour kit, I’ll be repurchasing that forever but I haven’t ventured further into the realms of the other items! I received this in the Boots Give it A Go Daily box that I featured in my last post and I’ve decided to give it a separate post review because I’m loving it! Read More

Zoya Ignite Collection 'Yuna'

The newest addition to my ever-growing nail varnish stash is Yuna from Zoya’s new A/W Ignite Collection. It’s a beautiful warm grey with subtle copper and gold glitter running through it. It also has a slight green tinge to it in some lights. I’ve applied it with a gel-like Kiss top coat on top and then a slick of Seche Vite to give it a tiny bit more staying power. Read More

MAC Studio Finish Mascara

All hail my new favourite mascara! Now, this was a risk as I haven’t tried any MAC mascaras before, I’ve just previously stuck with my ol’ faithful Warm Soul blush and the occasional lipstick. I’ve always been a high-street mascara gal, with some of my favourites usually priced around the £6 mark! I was a huge fan of the L’Oreal Volume Millions but I have serious FOMO with mascara, I always want to see if there’s something better so I rarely go back to the same one! Read More

Faith in Nature Organic Pineapple & Lime Shampoo

Faith in Nature aren’t a brand that I had heard of before but when they contacted me asking whether I’d like to try out some of their exotic sounding shampoo and conditioners I thought why not! This one really caught my eye as I absolutely love pineapple, mango and lime as flavours and smells. So, what do I think? The scent is lovely and it leaves my hair feeling really clean, which of course is a massive plus with shampoo! The conditioner I think is a little too runny for my liking, I prefer my conditioners to be really thick and mask-like but this was the only slight negative that I had with the product. Otherwise, I love it and it’s a welcome addition to my shower! As a plus, all of their products are organic so we can be sure that there aren’t any nasties going into our hair. I really fancy the look of the Grapefruit & Orange shampoo too! Read More

Clarins Autumn Make-Up Collection 2014

The Clarins Autumn Make-Up Collection is absolutely beautiful, they’ve released loads of lovely kits and bits and bobs to create the perfect smokey eye. The Ombre-Matte Cream to Powder Eyeshadow collection is lovely, the colours that I received are 03 – Taupe, 05 – Sparkle Grey and 06 – Earth (they’re in that order in the photograph, I’m helpful like that’, they create the perfect smokey eye when all blended together. My favourite selection is the Taupe as a base with the Earth as the outer shading. Read More
