The Boots box is back and this one is the best one yet. Showcasing some amazing make up products and tools, this #GiveItAGoDaily box has everything included to create this season’s hottest new looks from the berry lip to green nails to the ever-classic smokey eye and I’m loving it. They’ve got a page full of tips and tricks for how to get these hot looks over on their site so definitely go and check that out for some beauty inspo!
Every time one of these boxes pops through my letter box it’s like Christmas! They’re always packed to the brim with awesome stuff and gives you a chance to try products that perhaps you wouldn’t pick up normally. For example, I would never have picked up the Revlon Highlighting Palette before as I feel overwhelmed by the market now and would probably just go for either what was on offer or one that I’d used before and definitely knew worked for me, but this is an amazing product and I’m so glad that I’ve got it! I’ll be doing single reviews on the products that I’ve loved the most from this box so keep your eyes peeled for those.
Another interesting product from the box is the Barry M Waterproof Gel Eyeliner, I tested this on the back of my hand in the afternoon, then did about 3 loads of washing up and it was still going strong! I’m impressed by the endurance so far but it’s quite hard to work with. This is almost definitely because I’m so used to using felt-tip style eyeliners as I’ve been converted to these for so long now, so I’m going to persevere with it and try and make it work! Does anyone have any tips on how to work with these gel eyeliners?

Sticking on the track of eyes, the No7 Stay Perfect Eyeshaow Trio is a lovely little palette which is great for the classic smokey eye look. The navy colour is a nice change from greys and browns that usually overtake my smokey-eye attempts. The second No7 product in this box is the lovely No7 Instant Radiance Bronzing Highlighter. This, again, is a product I probably wouldn’t have picked up but I’m so glad that I’ve discovered it because it’s the same shade as Benefit’s Sun Beam (a personal favourite of mine) and it’s easier to work with as it’s a solid consistency. I’m a little bit in love with this, it’s getting it’s own post for sure.
Next up is a product I’m not too sure about, the Maxfactor Skin Luminizer Foundation has quite a thick consistency which in my eyes makes it difficult to work with but I’m going to give it another go and see how I get on! Back on the positive track, we have the Sleek Makeup Brow Kit in Dark which is also having it’s own post as I really liked this from the get-go. I’ve been converted to a Clarins brow palette recently, so I’ll see if this can overtake my current favourite.
Second to last is the Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick in Frambourjois has a stunning matte finish and amazing colour. I find it difficult to buy lip colour as I’m not a lipstick person but every now and again I feel like I need a little something on my lips to shake up my routine. I’m also really lazy with lipsticks and find the actual ‘sticks’ to be hard to work with so this having a more lipgloss like applicator is great for me! And finally, the cream of the crop from this box is the Essie Nail Polish – Naughty Nautical from their Summer collection. So bright and happy! I can’t wait for the next box to see what else I discover.
